To start off, the staff plans on releasing the full server, and getting rid of the whitelist weekend.
The IP is the same: play.sprucemc.com it will work with minecraft 1.7 or 1.8 for now.
Also, our launch should be somewhat unique, because we are setting up one of the first ad-powered servers. This means that every once in a while, you may see an ad in the chat, or if you look at the bottom of the page here, you will find an ad. This is much different then your average "please donate" Minecraft server.
This helped alot when deciding how to make money off of SpruceMc.

Hey saplings. Its LA65, the head-dev. If you are reading this, you have successfully taken a look at the sprucemc blog (or are reading from another blog) :D
Rather then setup a traditional enjin website (as most servers do), me and 205j decided that tumblr would be the best option. If you didn’t know, we used to own a server called RadiantCraft (RC)
Through that, we learned alot. First and foremost is that unless you are a really popular server, nobody uses the forums.
Second…. The new minecraft EULA kinda gets in our way. Before, we could accept donations for ranks, now we can’t. This defeats the purpose of using Enjin/anotherminecraftpaymentsystem. Instead, to generate revenue, we are using Adcraft.
