Prank(ish) Emails To Politicians
A few weeks ago I sent our local MP an email about the youth drop-in that I help to run at my Church, which is outside of my paid youth work employment.
I actually did it as a bit of a joke to see if she would respond to my message, which in short said:
"Please come to our youth drop in and congratulate our volunteers on the great work they do in creating 'the big society'".
Funny thing is that she's actually going to come along in February. Should be fun.
I'm intrigued to see what she'll say and how much formality will be involved in her visit. The one thing that really annoys me about politicians is how clinical they can be, so I hope she'll be a bit more "normal". I suppose we'll find out in the next few weeks...
