Today the signs favored planting root crops, so I cleared 2/3 of one of the raised beds (the other 1/3 has overwintered kale in it), since they have the nicest soil for carrots, and scattered allll these seeds in there. Scuffled them in, pressed, scattered some dry grass over the top for mulch, and watered in.
I like to harvest my carrots & spring onions a few at a time, as I use them, so the mixture won't present a harvest problem. It's a lot of seeds for the space, but most of them are old, so they'll probably have lower germination rates. Needed to use them up, anyway!
At least some of my peas are coming up after all! I planted them over two weeks ago, so I was a little worried about them, but I think all is well. We have such a short window of suitable weather for them that I didn't think I'd get to replant.
