#spring cookie

Spring and Foxy talked a little bit more about Madison before Chica came running back, Atom running after her as she turned and hid behind Spring, trash already lost during the chase “CHICA!” The gold brown rabbit looked at the man “Calm down will ya?” He said crossing his arms already finding this to be ridiculous “Calm down!?” Are you serious?? She’s running around eating trash! How can I be calm about that??” Atom squawked already feeling a migraine coming on “I don’t know, have you tried breathing through your mouth and out your nose?” The owner just looked at him absolutely dumbfounded with hints of disbelief that this rabbit didn’t seem to see the problem here “What’s that got to do with anything??” Foxy looked at Atom while Chica remained hidden as much as possible “You know, its what some people do to calm down” Spring said tilting his head since this guy didn’t seem to understand what he was saying. Atom let out a deep sigh “You know what, screw it, this is a waste of my time” the man pitched the bridge of his nose for a second before he turned his back to the bots “Just! Come on Spring, I’ll show you what you need to do, once I leave Chica is Your problem for the night” he walked off and eventually Spring did follow him when he looked at Foxy and then Chica.

“So, in this really weirdly located sort of….office I guess?? You have many monitors, this is the surveillance, use this old clunky tablet to flip through the camera’s that are not on the monitors, those are the outside camera’s. If somebody breaks in it is up to you to scare them off or if there’s too many people that don’t scare off easily you’ll have to alert the other animatronics to get into a secure room before you close yourself in using these doors and funny buttons next to the doors, one button opens the door and the other closes it. Once everyone is secure you have to open that clear case right there thats located under the desk, once its cover is removed just click the button and it will alert the police. Also the tablet has audio functions with a few prerecorded audio’s on it like barking dogs, men shouting, glass breaking, police sirens, alarm system and gun shots. You can play these audio’s over the available speakers that are in a lot of rooms if you would like to try to scare them off that way. Note any audio played from this tablet will be VERY loud because I haven’t had time to fix its volume levels when it comes to playing these audio’s……actually can you even use a tablet??” Atom asked looking at Springs hands, a tablet was touch screen so whether the animatronic could actually use it was unknown currently “I should be able to” Spring picked up the tablet and indeed it seemed pretty old but functional as it booted up and the bot was greeted with a few camera’s and audio icons that showed which speaker was in which room. Spring touched the flat screen flipping through a few camera’s just to see if it would react to his touch and funny enough it did without a problem “Well at least that works” the man said before he went on “As for taking on people who refuse to leave but are alone, in theory you should be fine to man handle them but try not to injure them, I’ve heard of people suing the people they tried to rob just because they got hurt on that persons property” Spring looked confused upon hearing that statement “Huh? That makes no sense and breaking in and robbing is against the law so how can one sue when themselves broke the law?? They would get charged upon even admitting that to any person of the law” Atom just shrugged “I don’t know man, I just know it happened once and part of me isn’t sure that wasn’t fake news, I’m pretty sure that got made up because the news channel it played on was going to get the plug from lack of views until they ran that story.” Atom went on “Fake or not though, I’m not taking any chances. Now that you know what to do I’m going to leaving you a spare key so you can lock up come morning, your hours should make it so you can head back home before the kid has to wake up to go to school” he said this as he wrote down the bots hours on a piece of paper “As for pay, you will get paid at the end of each week or if preferred at the end of each month, that can be discussed later” the man put the keys on the desk before he turned and said “with all that info given to you, your on your own” Spring didn’t stop the man from leaving, actually he just relaxed a little bit as all the humans left the pizzeria and it was just the bots domain now.

Spring Cookie went to walking around, patrolling and checking on the other bots “Chica, no, don’t eat that” he said gently as she tried eating something he didn’t approve of, he took it from the bot before she looked him up and down “is that what your going to be wearing during your night shift?” He looked down at his clothes upon her question before looking back at her “yeah? What else would I wear?” Chica thought for a moment before she took his hand and led him into a room with more junk, he looked confused but once she let go she went around rummaging through things before she popped back up with a variety of sized uniforms “There old but it’ll make you look professional, I think these might be your size?” Spring very much doubted any of these would fit him “I….don’t know if I’ll actually need a uniform…..” he looked at her and she had a look in her eyes like ‘pretty please?’ “Aw come on sugarplum, it might not be needed but its tradition for every night guard to wear there uniform, do it for the tradition” she looked at him and he looked at her, they locked gazes for several minutes before Chica won this stare off, he sighed “alright but I can’t guarantee these will actually fit” he heard her go YEEEE! With excitement “I’ll leave you to change then!” She seemed oddly happy by this, so when she left he looked at these sizes and with doubt he took off his current outfit and changed into this uniform, he was very very surprised when they clothes actually fit “What did Fazbear back in the day just order one uniform in every size possible?” He mumbled to himself before he stored his other clothes away to come back to later. When he came out of the room Chica was waiting for him “OH MY GOSH! You look great!” She said with excitement clapping her hands gently, quick and closely together “Thanks” the bot said as she walked completely around him getting a full view of his uniform “We should show the others!” Before Spring could even say anything Chica took him by the hand and forced him to walk with her in a quick fashion until they reached the others.

“Oh guuuyyyssss!” Chive called to them practically skipping a little bit as she led the way. The moment Foxy took a look at Spring he busted out laughing “What is he wearing?!” The fox asked cackling “Foxy! Stop laughing!” The chicken demanded but the fox didn’t seem to listen “Whaaaat? He looks ridiculous!” The fox insisted as his laughing started to quiet down a little bit “No! He looks handsome! And as the official nightguard he is wearing it out of tradition!” Chica said defending this type of fashion statement “Oh please, whose tradition is he doing this for? It’s not like we’re owned by fazbear anymore” the fox snarked which resulted in Chica huffily getting close to his face “It’s not a fazbear tradition! It’s a night guard tradition! You would know that if you paid attention all these years” her eyes half closed as she crossed her arms “Oh yeah? Then what does Bonnie think about all of this?” The fox said making them both look at the rabbit on the stage “Huh? Oh I think he looks good” Bonnie shrugged putting his guitar on its stand “See? He gets it!” Chica said looking back at the fox “All he said was that Spring looked good! That didn’t confirm nothing!” While the Fox and the Chicken bickered back and forth Spring went back to the surveillance office to look at the monitors and outside camera’s.

After the film had finished it had gotten a bit late, the kids looked at eachother, the rabbit had gone quiet…..how long had they not noticed it clanking around in the kitchen? Jack got up “I’m going to go check on the rabbit thing, can someone go check up on Madison?” Brittany volunteered to go check on there friend while the boy snooped around, he left his friends and started quietly walking around…..he is aware of what they all said in the conversation regarding this thing but…..he doesn’t really think any of them fully trusts the rabbit….at least not yet. Trust has to be earned and this thing….he hadn’t quite earned that, sure the kids wouldn’t tell that creepy cop anything but it doesn’t mean none of them were still on edge with this thing around.

Jack went to the kitchen, as expected the animatronic was nowhere to be seen “Where did it go?” He whispered to himself before he went on down the hallway to look in the other rooms, the bathroom had no occupants currently “Not in there I guess” he moved on going to the parents bedroom, the door was shut….only open just a crack, this made Jack nervous…..wasn’t it open earlier? The kid took a deep breath and grasped the door knob, he only opened the door just enough for him to maybe fit through but the squeak of the door gave him away easily.

Spring opened his eyes, he was just…..laying on the bed as if he was sleeping and….part of him sort of was and sort of wasn’t. He blinked looking at Jack, they stared at eachother “Did you need something old sport?” The moment those two words left the rabbits mouth the bot instantly hated the fact he just said that, sure it wasn’t a typical line but he’s heard it so much from HIM that sometimes he accidentally says it without thinking “Oh uh uhm” Jack stuttered, was this thing charging? There was a cable in its back now and the other end connected to the outlet so it was safe to assume it was charging “No” Jack had to think of something else to say here….”The movies over and its getting kind of late so we have to head on back home” the kid had trouble finding the words but he managed to spit something out, Spring slowly sat up on the bed “Oh alright, you kids stay safe out there okay? Feel free to stop on bye whenever you want to” the rabbit got up after a moment before he went to the plug in and took the plug out of it “What is that?” Jack pointed to the cord the rabbit had, Spring looked back at him “It’s just my charging cord, most don’t really see where it comes out of due to my clothes but I got a charging hatch back there” he said casually before the cord slowly retracted back into his back automatically, he probably had a built in mechanism that made it easier to remove and put back the cord. Once the cord was secure Spring turned something in his back until they heard a click “Okay….weird” Jack muttered more to himself “Uhm when do you think Madison will be coming back to school?” The question did come to the front of his mind so it had to be asked “Well…..I called the school, I wanted at least two weeks which I’m pretty sure isn’t enough time but they refused to even give her that, they said that there would be trouble if she didn’t show up in a week, I guess she took too much time off of school before or something” he told the boy, Jack didn’t look too happy about that “She probably won’t even be ready in a week…..” Jack muttered, she could improve, she could heal fast if under the proper care…..was this rabbit really going to provide that kind of care? “That’s why I will need you kids to look out for her, I’m not even sure if a doctors note would give her more time to be honest but I can’t be there for her at school, so I’ll need you to be.” Jack just nodded “That’s what friends are for right?” The boy stepped away from the door as Spring started walking towards it casually “I’m pretty sure yeah” the rabbit replied opening the door up more so he could walk through, he could see that jack still seemed unsure of him and that was alright, Spring didn’t expect anything less from the boy “Don’t forget to say bye to Madison on the way out if she isn’t still resting” the rabbit would let the boy walk ahead of him if that made him feel more comfortable “yeah” Jack turned to walk down the hall “Sure” he went to Madisons room, she was half awake right now, Brittany was sitting on the edge of her bed “Just stopped by to say we got to get going, we’ll be back tomorrow to check on you okay?” Madison nodded “Yeah, I can try to see if I can pop over in the morning though before school” Brittany said as if it was almost a promise “You? Before school starts? Your almost always late” Jack said in a joking matter which earned him a fake offended gasp from his friend “I’ll have you know I’m always on time” she said so matter of fact like before the blond got off the bed “Sure you are” Jack said as Brittany walked with a bit of a Pep in her step out of the room, the boy smiled a little bit as he looked back at Madison “Try to not do anything jarring while we are gone” she smiled a little bit back at him “I’ll try not to but I can’t make any promises” the boy laughed a little bit at that before he said see you later and the kids left the house.

“Are we sure she’s going to be alright?” Molly asked as she walked with her friends “No, I’m not sure of anything” Teddy said it so nobody else had to “Yeah but its not like we have much of a choice in the matter, we promised not to tell and if we tell a adult and they find out she’s alone she could be taken away like that one kid!” Brittany said making a fair point as if everyone needed it to be stated “Yeah……you have a point” Teddy said as they walked further and further away before he stopped upon noticing a police car across the street with only one cop in it “Isn’t that?” Everyone sort of glanced where he was looking but they kept moving “Yeah its the cop from before but he’s alone” Molly said with agreement “Maybe I’ll have to have my sister leave that new car of hers at Madison’s house a lot sooner than I thought, why is that cop being so noisy?” Brittany stated surprised the cop was there at all. The kids all went home after that, they all felt weirded and unsure of everything but they had to trust that everything would work out.

It’s been three days since then, Spring and Madison has just started to develop something that seemed to resemble a schedule, the kids friends kept visiting like they said they would and so far everything seemed alright, the rabbit was taking care of her…..keeping her wound cleaned, taking care of the house and preparing meals with what he had. He was just starting to feel like being a jack of all trades was actually starting to pay off when in the night there was suddenly a knock at the door, Spring wasn’t expecting anyone and it was late for those kids to show up again so naturally he paused fully prepared to just ignore the knock at the door if it wasn’t for one simple fact “Spring open the door” the voice on the other side said his name, the animatronic recognized the voice even if it was muffled by the door itself.

The rabbit sighed before he opened the door seeing the man that now owned the pizzeria standing before him “What the actually—!” He was about to say a very loud swear word but Spring covered the mans mouth with his hand “No swearing.” The animatronic said sternly “and absolutely no yelling, she’s trying to sleep” she? The man raised an eyebrow about that but at the same time he was also quite terrified right now as he found himself get picked up as if he was a child’s toy “You want to talk?” Spring brought him inside before he plopped the man on the couch and went back to shut the door “Then lets talk” the animatronic came back with his arms crossed standing before the man instead of sitting down so his presence could be intimidating.

“Okay, you are a lot stronger than you look” the man said pointing that out first, Spring didn’t respond to that he just waited for this guy to continue “Uhm, what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be at the pizzeria and when i checked the camera’s you straight up just left and there was a bunch of kids and now there’s a hole in the floor?? I mean the camera’s aren’t the best but still they showed enough” the man stuttered, he was trying to be the boss here but he was greatly failing at being one with Springs intimidating dad energy he had going on right now “well if you paid any lick of attention to things you would know the crew went on the fritz while some kids explored the place you failed to lock up properly, Foxy hurt one pretty bad, he didn’t mean it, he’s not a bad animatronic but stuff happens when you start tinkering with something you don’t understand” that was a stab towards the man who had tried to ‘fix’ them himself, Spring wanted to lay it on thick that it was his fault that a child got hurt, if he hadn’t messed with the animatronics then they wouldn’t have even went after those kids.

The man seemed to shrink all at once as the blame though not fully stated was indeed implied to be his fault, sure he was a idiot but even he wasn’t dumb enough to not to pick up on what the rabbit truly meant “Okay okay I get it, I messed up, I tried to cut some corners to save on some funds and its come to bite me in the….” He paused a moment “butt” he really had to try not swearing there “I can fix this though….but I need you to come back, I can’t have you be wandering around town, I could get sued if something happens! And well…..every since I guess you left people have been trying to break in and yes I made sure stuff was locked this time, I’m going to have to hire somebody to keep guard of the night I guess now…” the man grumbled but all Spring really heard was complaining “I’m. Not. Going. Back” he said with a sternness you only really see from a protective fatherly type “You have to, I’m responsible for you, I paid money for you and that wasn’t so you could gain a what form of sentience here?” The man didn’t really appreciate something he invested in just leaving the premises and never come back!

“Oh I gained that a long time ago but my answers still no, you might have paid money me but you do not own me like you may think you do. We all got our own versions of free will, mines just stronger than some” this rabbit was starting to give the man a headache “Well un-gain it will ya?!” Spring glared at him when his voice got too high and the man had to remind himself to be quiet or else this rabbit might actually smack him. The man sighed “Look I don’t know what fully happened that makes you think you can just stay here, I get it, a kid got hurt, if anybody finds out it could hurt my business before its even had a chance to open but the people of this house can’t be okay with you just staying in there home” Spring blinked “The people of this house abandoned it and the child along with it, the girl currently sleeping is the one who got hurt badly and although you might not agree with me on this, I have decided that I am the one who needs to take care of her because nobody else will” the rabbit was being serious, he was being completely serious “Wha-what? Pardon? You saying some adults just ditched there kid and that was that?” The man seemed at a loss for words for a solid minute “why haven’t you like called the police yet oh sentient rabbit?” The room fell silent, did either of them really have to say it?

”Because then she would get thrown into the system and you remember what that was like don’t you?” The man looked at him as if startled “How do you know about that? I never told anybody about that” the animatronic tilted his head “Well isn’t it obvious? You’re a bit of a hoarder you know that? You brought a lot of box’s in with a bunch of random stuff and I had a lot of free time on my hands, who do you think organized all that stuff huh? Boy wasn’t I surprised to find those documents in there, not that I have anything to hold against you just because of your situation but you got tossed around a lot, I’m sure you of all people would understand why I wouldn’t want that for her, she needs to be in a place where she is comfortable and can call home, she needs stability and looking after and nobody else is stepping up to do it.” The man glanced away, his own mind coming to a dilemma, this was crazy! This animatronic was crazy! They all were crazy! But he was right! The man hated that this rabbit was right, it didn’t make sense for him to be right, what in the blazing stars was Fazbear doing with these animatronics? He didn’t understand the technology or the software but whatever this rabbit had in his head was something beyond normal, though in a sense it would make sense for that now closed down and bankrupt company to somehow develop a sense of sentience in there animatronics so they didn’t have to do any of the actual work. Got a task? Just tell one of the bots to figure it out, want somebody to mange something that requires years of experience? These guys could learn it in weeks, Fazbear has a lot of secrets….everyone knows those rumors are true, if only somebody knew what that company was really up to.

“Okay fine, how about this if you’ll hear me out” it seems the man had come to a decision and Spring was all ears, they were already perked as if telling the man he had his attention “I know I don’t technically need you, I’m not even sure what roll I would actually give you at my pizzeria in a traditional sense BUT….I don’t really think its a good idea for a…well human to be the night guard, I’ve heard horror story’s from night guards and I don’t want the headache. How about you be my night guard yeah? You can work the nights and come back here to take care of her once your shift ends” it was a compromise, one that might be deemed as fair “Only if I get paid for it” but even a good compromise needs to be a little sweetened “excuse me?” The man was surprised to have such a thing be asked from him, especially from a thing he already poured money into buying “I need to keep the lights on in this place and the bills paid, a house is no good if you can’t have power or water” the man grumbled at the rabbits words “Alright, alright, fine…..its a deal” Spring extended his hand as if saying ‘let’s shake on it then’ and despite the man not liking it he shook the rabbits hand as if in agreement.

“Good, glad we could work that out, now. You’ve got a lot of work to do, you do plan on fixing the other animatronics right? Actually getting a professional to correct the mistakes you made?” The man nodded “I don’t got much of a choice” and that he truly didn’t, if he wanted to ever consider opening then he needed to get them professionally fixed “Good, its best you get going now” Spring hinted that basically the man had I’ve stayed his welcome “Fine, just be at the pizzeria tomorrow to start your shift” he wasn’t going to argue about this fact, he needed that place to be guarded as soon as possible and its not like the current animatronics could actually do it, he had to turn those things off just until they can get fixed after all.

With Pizza snack in hand he expected Madison’s friends to maybe calm down but things took a unexpected turn when in the next five seconds all of her friends started screaming as if there life depended on it, it was so unexpected that it made Spring yelp and almost drop the food he had brought them, the screams hurt the animatronics ears and the sound brought on a very painful memory from way back when. For a moment he just stood there getting lost in the memory, a yellow rabbit danced across his vision with a knife in one hand and a body being dragged with the other, he remembered the day he was unable to move, unable to react, all he could do was watch and listen. He wasn’t HIM, HE WASN’T HIM! Panic was all he felt up until something cut above the screams “GUYS!” Spring blinked back, he saw he was still standing in the doorway of Madison’s room, he was HERE, he wasn’t in that other place no more……he needed to forget that ever happened…..he wish he could…..”STOP SCREAMING ALREADY!” Madison’s voice only got louder and more demanding? Angry? And it seemed when nothing happened everyone ended up listening to her “Seriously…why…” her ears were practically ringing now and she wasn’t too happy about it “You have ONE OF THOSE THINGS in your house, what do you mean why?!” Teddy said as if it wasn’t obvious “Oh for crying out loud” Madison looked more tired now then she did moments ago “He’s friendly, he’s NOT like the others” so far “he’s the reason I’m even safe at home, so could you all not scream my ear drums off again” she looked at them a bit irritated but she understood the reaction, even she still wasn’t sure of things but so far he has proved himself as being one of the good ones, a sound finally broke the tension….her stomach growling, everyone sort of just became quiet before Spring said something again “So…..snacks?” Madison looked over at him with grabby hands and a whine “Yes please” though she couldn’t go and get it so Spring sort of just walked over slowly, kids moved as he came closer, the animatronic put the plate of pizza rolls down so Madison could eat and she did proceed to “I uhm” Spring looked at the other kids “I’m really not a bad guy” he wasn’t sure what else to say, Jack sighed “This is all crazy you know that?” Of course his friend knew that “She still didn’t answer our question about her parents….” Brittany said uncomfortably with the bot just standing there. “Oh I’m sorry are we just going to skip over the fact there’s one of those things just standing there?!?” Teddy didn’t seem to want to let it go “Teddy come on” Molly was just as freaked out as everyone else was but she was also more accepting “If she says he’s good then he’s good, he could hurt us right here and right now but he isn’t so lets just all calm down” Teddy looked at her like seriously, Madison took another bite of food before she spoke up “My parents are gone” that seemed to make everyone go quiet “They packed some stuff up while I slept and just left…..I tried calling them but there phone numbers no longer work and they’ve been gone for about two weeks” her friends expression said it all….it was a mixture of shock and confusion “And now with this injury I won’t be going to school for a while and…..I can’t take care of myself now and there not coming back so…..he’s basically the only one I’ve got that seems to be willing to take care of me” everyone exchanged some looked as she continued “So could you maybe just…..not tell anybody that he’s here?” Teddy looked at her as if she was nuts but honestly this all was just rather upsetting “Two weeks??? Why didn’t you tell us? Have you tried calling the cops?” Brittany asked that honestly “I did and all I got was in trouble, I think they thought I was just pranking them…..” Madison didn’t really seem to be sharing the pizza rolls here but at the same time nobody was stopping her from eating them “Honestly I didn’t say anything because I thought nobody would believe me after that” she added which did sting a bit but the friends knew she was right in assuming that up until they all went to

the pizzeria and became more open minded “Alright alright” Jacks voice cut above everyone else’s “We won’t tell anyone” he shot a sharp glare at Spring “But if you do something to her I won’t hesitate to take a screw driver to you” a child's threat, one wouldn’t take in seriously but the animatronic was pretty sure Jack would still try if something happened. Not that anything would happen….”You serious??” Teddy said not even liking the fact anybody was entertaining this, Jack shot a look at him “We ALL promise to keep our mouths shut” the ‘This is serious’ tone made Teddy go quiet making him grumble something underneath his breath but nod regardless “Yeah we won’t tell” Molly said as if confirming what Jack had said, the girl had seen something similar happen to another kid once……they got taken away by some adults and never got seen from again. Molly didn’t know that kid got shipped off to go be put into the system so the child could possible Maybe be assigned foster parents, she just knew she didn’t want her friend to be taken away, that thought was almost worst then what happened yesterday……almost.

“Alright I guess if we’re keeping our traps shut then so will I” Brittany said so casually, just when everyone agreed to not say a word everyone heard the sound of police sirens “Crud!” Freddy seemed startled by the sudden sound “Why does that sound like it’s in front of the house?” Molly asked before Jack jumped up and looked out the nearest window “Because it is, cops are getting out!”

“Somebody must have heard you all screaming and called the cops” Spring said startled, everyone froze for a split second before Madison said “Spring hide in my closet, Jack go put on a scary movie, everyone else scatter!” Even though she could only lay here she could still take charge and there wasn’t time for anything else resembling a better plan to take place. The animatronic looked at the closet, he opened it before he stood inside and closed the closet door…..it was pretty dark in the closet actually, he wasn’t particularly fond of having to hide in the closet.

Freddy, Jack and Brittany ran into the livingroom. The boy with the black hair rummaged for a horror movie before he shoved it in the player, turned the volume up and fast forward so the movie would be playing in the middle instead of at the beginning. Brittany and Teddy sat on the couch while Molly grabbed an old girls magazine Madison had and sat on the bed next to her friend flipping through the pages before they got a knock at the door.

Jack went to answer it, who stood before him was a brown haired man in a cop uniform, his partner….a blond stood next to him, the horror movie could be heard playing in the background “Hey kid, we got called about kids screaming. Is it safe to assume it was you lot?” Jack nodded “Sorry, we’re watching a horror movie, we didn’t mean to get so noisy” the other cop gave a nod “A horror movie huh? Well the lady on the phone said these were practically blood curdling screams so we would just feel more comfortable if we could look around the house” the brown haired cop stated before his partner gave him a look like ‘why are we bothering when it’s obvious they just got loud because of a movie’ but the other cop ignored the look, Jack didn’t want them in the house but it would be suspicious if he was uncomfortable with it, at least he thought so “I mean I don’t mind but I don’t think my friends parents would be comfortable with it” he decided to give this answer instead, he already looked unsure, he might as well give a sort of excuse as to why. “The parents currently here?” The other cop asked “No, they went to the store real quick” Jack tried not providing any specific details, he’s seen enough cop shows to tell him giving too many details was never good when it came to cops “They left you kids alone?” The other asked “Well yeah, we don’t need no babysitter, we’re old enough to watch ourselves” Jack tried to make himself look a little offended but by the way the cops raised a eyebrow Jack probably just looked constipated.

“Still, may we come inside?” Jack didn’t like how insisting the one cop sounded but he stood out of the way “Yeah sure I guess” he gave a typical kid answer as he let the cops come inside, the brown haired cop saw the kids on the couch and what movie was playing “That’s a pretty gruesome movie” the cop recognized the movie easily “Yeah? So?” Teddy said even though they weren’t even watching it “So you kids shouldn’t be watching it” the cop said coming over and turning it off, the blond one sort of just let his partner do whatever but he did give him a weird look “H-hey! Our movie!” Teddy said with complaint before the man moved on “Anybody else in the house?” He asked them “Just our friends Molly and Madison” Brittany replied not liking the cops presence at all…..there was something off about him to her “Right, we’re just going to look around” the cop with brown hair proceeded to go check the rest of the house, he snooped going into to rooms he wasn’t supposed to before he went into Madisons room “You kids alright?” He asked as the girls looked at him “Yeah? We’re fine” Molly asked giving a more curious look. The cop came fully in the room “Do you mind if I look in there” the cop pointed towards Madisons closet “Uhm yeah I do mind” it was obvious Madison felt uncomfortable with that and weirded out instantly “Why? You got something to hide in there?” The cop sounded friendly but he was being pretty suspicious himself “No, I’m just not comfortable with some random adult poking around in my closet, thats just weird” her purple eyes expressed what her words were saying, she was weirded out. Just then the blond came over “Come on quite hassling the kids, its obvious they just got too rowdy watching the movie, quit poking around” the blond didn’t like his friends behavior since everything else checked out, kids screamed all the time anyways, it wasn’t unusual they were to make such sounds while watching a scary movie they weren’t supposed to, just then a call came in over there radios and the blond replied to it saying they would be on route “Come on, duty calls” the brown haired one gave the two girls a look that put them on edge before the cops left the house, got in there car and drove off. Jack closed the door after they were far enough away before locking the door and returning to Madison with the rest of her friends “It’s safe to come out” the purple eye girl said loud enough for Spring to hear, he came out of the closet hesitantly “Well that was uncomfortable” Spring said as if nobody else was actually thinking it “I didn’t like the way he looked at us” Molly replied as she put down the magazine “yeah he turned off the movie and went snooping around the house!” Teddy said a bit dramatically but this time the situation seemed appropriate for it. “It was really uncomfortable” Jack said in agreement “Maybe he was just doing his job? Though I didn’t like the way he was looking around, it sounded like he was looking for something” that made everyone pause, what was he looking for? He wanted to check Madisons closet “Do you think he knew….he was in there?” Molly pointed to Spring but Jack thought that notion was silly “Why would he suspect there was anything in there in the first place?” Madison thought for a moment at her friends words.

”Maybe somebody recorded Spring taking me home?” The words left Madisons mouth faster than she could process them, was that possible? “If I remember right I did walk past the doctors clinic and I think a small store? It’s possible they had cameras” the animatronic seemed concerned as he spoke, he couldn’t help but draw the conclusion that maybe he had gotten filmed and somebody reported it to the police possibly. “That doesn’t seem likely but its still possible” Teddy said as he settled down a bit “Yeah, it’s possible, the cop might snoop around if thats the case and if he doesn’t see a car in the driveway it might get even more suspicious” Jack stated as if it was fact before Brittany spoke up “Oh my sister bought a new car recently she’s hiding from our parents since she wasn’t supposed to buy this one car in particular that she got anyways, her boyfriend helped her buy it and she’s been looking for places to hide it, if you don’t mind I can just have her park it here?” The blond thought it was a great idea. “Won’t she get suspicious when you come in with the solution to her problems?” Teddy asked raising a eyebrow.

“I can just say something slipped and that Madisons parents said she could park it here or something like that, I know how to handle my sister, you just leave her to me” Brittany said confidently “Well alright then, I guess thats solved then” Jack said before he looked at Spring “So uhm….Madison ate the pizza rolls so uhm….do you kids want some?” He offered though the pizza rolls he gave were supposed to be for everyone…..”How do you plan on providing food?” Jack asked as he gave the animatronic a serious look “when it runs out here?” He added so that the question had some specifics.

Spring went quiet, he tilted his head, he didn’t know…..”Or paying the bills?” Again no answer for that either, the only answer the animatronic could give the boy was “I can only try my best” Jack didn’t like the answer but he respected it enough “Don’t hound him about that” Molly piped up “he’s only been here for one day right? I’m sure something can be figured out” she added before she thought about it “We could actually watch a movie though, not a horror movie but like—“ her sentence got interrupted by Jack “yeah about movies, half of them are gone since the last time we were here” that was disappointing but there was still movies. “You guys go watch a movie, I’m tired, I’m going to sleep” Madison put the plate next to her alarm clock before she put her head down on the pillow “Oh okay, sleep well” Brittany said before her and Molly went to go put on a different movie.

He stirred the pot to make sure the soup didn’t burn, he had the knowledge to cook but yet he has never cooked a day in his robotic life, even still he was confident enough in himself to heat up a simple chicken noodle soup, sure it was soup from a can but he had to start small with his cooking and this kind of soup was always the best when one was sick. He continued to stir until the soap bubbled with heat, he turned the stove off before he went and found a bowl, he poured some soup into the bowl grabbing a spoon on the way before he went to Madisons room.

She appeared to be resting up until she heard the bowl get put down on her beds side table, she peaked open an eye seeing the steam coming from the bowl, did he make her food? She didn’t want to move…..not yet but she knew she had to get up eventually to go to the bathroom. Spring left the room to go grab a chair before he sat it next to her bed and picked up the bowl again, he sat down putting the spoon in the bowl “I can feed myself…” Madison said slightly propping herself up by just pushing her arms against the bed, luckily her stitched up wound was still numb so it wasn’t bothering her as much to do this “Oh okay, it might just be a little tough with the way your positioned though” she motioned for him to give her the bowl, he sighed but she was a kid and she probably felt like she had no control over anything right now so as silly as it seemed to let her eat in this position, he let her, he set the bowl carefully on the bed with the spoon watching her stir the soup around before she spooned herself some with a quick blow just to make sure it was to a cooler temperature before consuming. The soup seemed to be of her approval “After your done eating we’ll have to get you up to go to the bathroom but you’ll have to be careful, I can carry you there if you want” Spring offered though it might be better if she actually got to move her legs instead “I’ll walk but……I might need to lean on you….” She trailed off before she continued eating, Spring nodded as he just watched her eat so she didn’t accidentally spill it over onto herself, Madison felt so tired and although her fever had broke she still didn’t feel so good.

After the food was eaten the animatronic read the instructions for the medication before he took the bowl away and came back to give her her first pill “Alright you ready?” She looked at him hesitantly before she nodded, he carefully helped her into a sitting position before he eased her to her feet, he allowed her to put all his weight on her as he started helping her walk to the bathroom, once they got there she held onto the sinks vanity “I-I can take it from here” she looked at him before he stepped back “Alright just be careful” Spring said softly before he closed the bathroom door behind him giving her some privacy. He decided this would be the time to do a few chores nearby so he could keep a ear out for when she was done, he decided that while he was staying in this house he would most likely just charge in her parents bedroom since the bed was big enough for him to lay on while he charged, sure it would be a bit weird since its somebody else’s bed but if the parents never came back he might as well use the room since the couch wasn’t near any outlets.

He waited a good amount of time before he heard the bathroom door open and he dropped what he was doing, he popped himself into the hallway just in time to see Madison leaning her hand against the wall “All done? Do you need help getting back to bed?” She looked at him but she wanted to walk to her room on her own but knew she probably shouldn’t “Yeah, I’m tired” though she felt like she had been sleeping for hours on and off she still felt exhausted “Alright, take my hand, I’ll help you get back there” Spring just seemed like the gentle type, he’s proven to be that so far for a animatronic. Though the attack still made her hesitant she didn’t think Spring would actually hurt her since he had plenty of chances to do so, so with that thought in mind she let the animatronic help her back to bed. It all seemed so weird…..no parents….a new injury….and a animatronic that just seemed to want to take care of her and the house…..could things really get any weirder?

Hours passed as Madison slept up until there was a knock at the door, Spring became alerted, his ears standing up straight until he heard a child’s voice through the door, were those her friends? School must have let out, what was he going to do? He didn’t want to scare them but also he didn’t want them to worry about Madison. He thought about it before he went to the door and unlocked it before he ran off to the parents bedroom hoping he was quick enough to not be spotted, the kids heard the door unlock but when it didn’t open they became hesitant, Jack was the one to open the door and go inside “Hello? Madison?” He called out as the others followed in after him, Molly was sporting a long sleeve shirt which she hated but she had to hide all the scrapes and cuts she gained falling and running into sharp things in the dark while trying to run away…..actually they all had injuries of a varies of degrees but none of them were severe like Madison’s injury was, if anything her friends all got off pretty easily in comparison “maybe she’s in her room?” They all were hoping, none of them knew if there friend had been saved or if she was still at the pizzeria but as they went to her room there questions had been answered.

Madison woke up when her friends filtered into the room “Madison you’re okay!” Molly said with great relief as she sat on the edge of her friends bed, Jack sat in the chair while Teddy sat on the floor and Brittany stood “H-hey guys….I wouldn’t say I’m okay but I sure am….something” Jack looked at her with concern “What happened after we all got separated?” The question was one everyone was expecting from Madison, Jack decided he would start out first “After you fell through the floor those things all closed in behind me…..I couldn’t run they were so close so the only option I found was to jump down in the hole after you. I was surprised to land in a ball pit though….it was just really weird and I found you passed out in there, I think those things knew where we were though so I had to drag you into another room to hatch out a plan, until I though up one there was some of those foam blocks in a corner so I guess I made a bed for you to lay on until I got a idea. I’m sorry I had to leave you there but there’s no way the both of us would have gotten past them with you being unconscious so I left, I managed to find some stair, sneak past those things and get out, when I did I promise I ran straight home and told me parents” Jack paused looking away for a moment before he looked back “My parents didn’t believe me though, they thought I made it all up and instead I got in trouble for coming home late” he said it as if it was the usual thing, his parents never believed him.

“My parents were the same way” Molly chimed in “They didn’t believe me either” there was sounds of agreement as the others said something similar about there parents “So wait if nobody managed to get there parents to go to or call the cops then how to she get home?” Brittany made a good question, the room fell silent “Well……i-it’s kind of hard to explain? Well…..honestly its more hard to believe then anything else” Madison didn’t know how to explain so she fell silent “Oh come on don’t leave us on a cliffhanger, out with it” Teddy said more with concern than anything else “One of those uh…..things…..not all of them but one of them didn’t attack me….” The others raised there eyebrows as if they didn’t believe all those things at the pizzeria wasn’t trying to hurt them “and it….he stayed with me until six a.m. and well…..” everyone was listening with disbelief as she said the next thing “He carried me out of the pizzeria and well…..he carried me to my house and he’s currently taking care of me and hiding somewhere in the house from you guys” the room fell so silent you could hear a pin drop “EXCUSE ME?!” That was until Teddy had to break the silence. “Your telling me one of those things is in you house RIGHT NOW???” He looked towards the bedroom door as if expecting that thing to show up as if it had comedic timing or something but the bot never came over “Yup” Madison replied simply “and its taking care of you?” Molly asked thinking that was weird “Yeah…..well the fox one cut my back and the doctor came and had to give me stitches which is why I’m laying like this” everyone fell silent again “Okay maybe your not okay…..” Molly added looking at the others, her orange hair shifted more in front of her face as she spoke “How do your parents feel about all of this?” Brittany asked but Madison did not want to answer, she frowned just looking away as her fiend knew something was up after that.
