Fondant enters Spree’s candy shop with a whistle, taking a look around and grinning as he enters. He leans down to say something to the elephant-shaped travel trunk next to him, who opens itself so he can take a look at its contents before he continues looking!{rotten-dough-rodeo}
Normally, yes, Spree would know if someone entered one of his businesses, a sensation similar to that of someone simply knocking on his door to alert him to a new presence, but this... This is that but...different. Different in a way that strains him, makes him grit his teeth and hold his head a little as he blinks the pain away. Wh-What....?
Straightening his hat and calling his cane to him, Spree sucks in a deep breath before he parts the separating curtain and steps into the shop with absolutely noiseless flourish. Almost instantly, the very moment his eyes land on the back of the young mans head, it’s like a someone’s driving a wooden stake through his skull. There’s something about this boy that’s messing with him, fiddling with his brain directly, and he doesn’t like it.
Still, Spree puts on a smile and wills himself to calm down, brandishing his usually friendly grin as he clears his throat to catch the young mans attention.
“How may I help you today? If you need help that is, heh.”
