My spouse cleaned up some of their sketches and said I could post them, so here they are.

I've been brainstorming and designing Eridian fashion history and modern clothing, but that's not ready to post yet. Here's Rocky's Tau Ceti mission jumpsuit that he wears like 90% of the time though, since Spouse dressed him in it:

The color of Rocky's jumpsuit is like that because it's a cheap, sturdy fiber from the low-light region of the Eridian biosphere. Mottled, desaturated red. More expensive fabrics are harvested from higher in the biosphere and have colors like green and blue... Obviously nothing the Eridians can perceive, so they don't do anything to enhance the natural colors.

We're book-focused nerds so we do not acknowledge the movie's xenonite bodysuit (makes no damn sense), but like to think that during the 3-5 year journey to Erid Rocky eventually built a "glovebox" so that he and Grace could stick their hands into each other's environments and do social grooming and touching to stave off (or in Rocky's case, work on healing) isolation-induced insanity.

We believe, uh, some Stuff happens. But the major takeaway is that these two bastards are extremely clingy after being stuck together so long.

The drawings where Rocky and Grace are rawdogging it are just how the two of them wish it could be, obviously they can't actually touch without a barrier.

The fox toy is something Grace made after Rocky destroyed the earth hackey sack Grace gave him (this movie canon is acceptable u.u), because he uses it as a stress ball and the fibers couldn't put up with being in a 400 degree oven full of ammonia being crushed in an iron fist a thousand times a day. The fox is made of Eridian materials so it stands up to the punishment better. Rocky carries the fox around in his pocket and chokes the life out of it every time he starts to feel anxious (always). His engineering staff have no idea what it is other than "some kind of Earth thing".

We just wanted to show it off bc hello??? The colors are so so lovely and the shapes and reflections are asfgkdndkd (neither of us knew what character the other made until we were both done to make it more fun)

Their OC, Star, is part of NSR (an amazing indie rhythm game, def recommend it) while I drew my fav crackheads of a jungler bc I'm still in love with the Heartsteel boys
