Comic Book Movie Actors Be Like

I honestly hate it when people say Peter Parker shouldn't be white in movies. I mean, that is his ethnicity, Peter Parker is white. Does this mean SPIDER-MAN has to be white? No. There have been non-white Spider-Men. Miles Morales is black. Miguel O'Hara is hispanic. Yu Komori and Takuya Yamashiro are Japanese. Hell there's even fucking Pavitr Prabhakar, who is Indian. THEY HAVE ALL BEEN SPIDER-MAN.
There's no fucking point in changing a character's race just to be "diverse" when you have other goddamn characters who are already of a different ethnicity. That is creatively bankrupt and pandering to the lowest common denominator. And really, if you get offended about the lack of diversity to the point you want to change a pre-existing character instead of using one that could easily fit or make a new one, you probably weren't that invested in the character/franchise in the first place.
