Still not believing that Dean was back this entire time, you stayed by his side as he worked. Of course, you could have done this yourself, but chose not to.
“Yeah, hi, I have a cell phone account with you guys and I, uh, lost my phone,” Dean said to the person on the other line. “I was wondering if you could turn the GPS on for me… Yeah. Name's Wedge Antilles… Social is 2-4-7-4… Thank you.”
“How'd you know he'd use that name?” your dad asked.
“Are you kidding me? What don’t I know about that kid?” Dean scoffed and sat down at a table with an open laptop in front of him. Getting up, you walked over to him before sitting on the armrest and putting a hand on his shoulder.
“I kind of knew this too,” you said quietly, making your dad look at you.
“Why did you tell me this before?”
“I couldn’t care less about my own life, much less Sam’s,” You whispered. Sitting in silence for a few moments, the laptop beeped which let you know that Sam’s phone had been found.
“Sam's in Pontiac, Illinois,” Dean read.
“Right near where you were buried,” your dad said.
“Right where I popped up. Hell of a coincidence, don't you think?” Dean sighed and shook his head.
“Okay, why don’t you pack something, and in the meantime, I think you might want these,” you stood up and pulled out Dean’s keys. Almost instantly, his eyes lit up at the sight of them.
“You took care of her?”
“Of course, I did. It was the only way I could feel close to you,” you smiled and dropped the keys into his hand. Bobby left the room to go pack, and you and Dean walked out to the junkyard to get his car.
“Okay, tell me what the past four months have been like for you,” Dean spoke once you two were alone.
“I don’t think you want to hear about that,” you sighed, but Dean stopped you.
“I do.”
“I’ll show you, then,” you took his hand, and led him to the cars your magic has crushed. He looked at the shattered glass everywhere and the dented metal.
“You did all this?” he asked, looking at you.
“I was a wreck. I had panic attacks, bad ones, at least twice a day. They were one of the worst ones I ever had. I tried taking care of them myself, but most of the time I couldn’t so I let them pass. Sometimes, I passed out from breathing too quickly. It wasn’t fun. My magic was going haywire and I couldn’t stop or control it. I missed you so much, you have no idea,” you got tears at the memories of the past.
“I can get an idea,” Dean said, bringing you in his arms. Breathing in another lungful of his scent, you sighed before pulling away once you remembered what you took from him.
“Wait, I have something else for you,” you sniffled as you pulled away. Taking off his ring, you grabbed his right hand before sliding it onto his ring finger.
“You could have kept it.”
“It’s too big on me. I don’t know how many times it fell off my thumb,” you chuckled and took the amulet you were wearing out from underneath your shirt. Taking it off, you placed it around Dean’s head and watched it fall into place.
“Thank you,” he whispered. Smiling, you leaned up and pressed your lips to his. He gripped your hips and pulled you closer to his body. The kiss became more feverish, and you started to back him up until his back hit one of the cars. He pulled away from you only to switch positions. With you being on his car, he locked you in with his arms. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you granted him access when he requested it with his tongue. Moaning as he re-explored your mouth, you enjoyed his taste.
He pulled away once he was finished but kissed down your jaw and to your neck. He nipped and sucked on the spots he knew would fuck you up. Closing your eyes, you moaned at the intense feeling he gave you.
“As much as I’m glad you two have each other again, I don’t miss that,” your father interrupted, making Dean pull away from you. Blushing, you licked your lips as you used your hair to hide yourself from him.
“We will finish this later. I missed you,” he whispered, kissing the side of your head.
“Sorry,” you gave your dad a shy smile.
“It’s nice to see you smile again.” Nodding in agreement, you and Dean got into his car as your dad placed the bags in the back seat. Once finished, he walked to his own car since he had the feeling that you and Dean would make conversation that wasn’t appropriate for your father.
“Hey, sweetheart, you missed me?” Dean grinned as he ran his hands over the wheel of his baby.
“Okay, let’s go get Sam,” you said as Dean started the car. Driving off, your father followed behind to get the brother you neglected.
Knowing Sam’s style, you didn’t really expect anything fancy with the place he was staying at. Looking around the dirty hallway, you heard people inside of their rooms as they lived their life. Locking in Sam’s room, you walked over to it with the men before knocking.
The door opened to reveal a short dark-haired woman wearing only a tank top and underwear. She looked at you and the men behind you with a look of expectantly. Frowning, you got some weird vibes from her, the kind you got when you were near a demon.
“So, where is it?” she asked and made eye contact with you. Immediately, she tensed up as she backed a few inches from you.
“Where's what?” Bobby asked.
“The pizza... that takes two guys and a woman to deliver?”
“I think we got the wrong room,” Dean chuckled as he was about to leave. However, Sam walked out of the bathroom wearing only a grey t-shirt and jeans.
“Hey, is—” Sam stopped short once he saw his brother standing right in front of his eyes.
“Heya, Sammy,” Dean said quietly, but with so much emotion. Looking away from Sam, you eyed the only other woman in the room. Once she made eye contact with you, she backed away cautiously. Something inside you was telling you that this woman wasn’t normal, that she was something else entirely. Before you could say anything, Sam took out a knife and lunged for his brother.
“No! Sam!” you yelled just as the woman screamed. Dean blocked his brother’s attack, and Bobby rushed over before pulling Sam away as you protected Dean. Stepping in front of Dean, you saw Sam come down with his knife so that it would hit you before it ever hit Dean. Seeing you, Sam stopped suddenly as he stared into your eyes.
“Sam! Stop!” Bobby gripped the younger brother’s shoulders and pulled him back just as Dean gripped yours.
“Who are you?!” Sam yelled.
“Like you didn't do this?!”
“Do what??”
“Sam, it’s him. It’s really Dean. Come on, look at me. I wouldn’t be like this if it weren’t him. I’m okay now, no more panic attacks,” you said, and Sam looked at you before looking at his brother.
“What…?” Sam breathed out, relaxing a bit more. Dean moved you out of the way and slowly walked to his brother.
“I know. I look fantastic, huh?” Bobby let go of Sam and let them reunite just as you looked at the young woman. Dean and Sam clung to each other, hugging with every emotion they could muster up.
“So, are you two, like… together?” the woman asked, and everyone looked at her. Sam pulled away from Dean and chuckled.
“What? No, no, he’s my brother.”
“Uh... got it. I... I guess. Look, I should probably go,” she said, but you stopped her.
“Who the hell are you?” you snapped at her, and she raised her eyebrows at you.
“Excuse me?” she scoffed.
“Y/N, stop it,” Sam said to you, but you glared at her.
“You should probably go. Sorry.” Sam said and she rolled her eyes at you before grabbing some clothes to get dressed. Sam did the same and before you knew it, she was dressed and so was Sam, in better clothes.
“So, call me.” The woman said after Sam opened the door for her.
“Yeah. Yeah, sure thing, Kathy.”
“Kristy.” The woman said, disappointed.
“Right.” Sam chuckled and she left the room.
“Who the hell is she and why am I getting weird vibes from her?” You asked as soon as the door closed.
“What? No one.” Sam said, avoiding you. He turned around and saw his brother there, arms crossed and pissed.
“So, tell me, what'd it cost?”
“The girl? I don’t pay, Dean.” Sam said, smirking.
“This isn’t funny, Sam.” You glared at him.
“To bring me back. What'd it cost? Was it just your soul, or was it something worse?” Dean glared.
“You think I made a deal?” Sam scoffed.
“That's exactly what we think,” Bobby spoke up.
“Well, I didn’t.”
“Don’t lie to me,” Dean said intensely.
“I’m not lying.”
“So, what now, I'm off the hook and you're on, is that it? You're some demon's bitch-boy? I didn't want to be saved like this.” Dean said, advancing towards his brother.
“Look, Dean, I wish I had done it, alright?” Sam said angrily. Dean gripped the front of his shirt tightly.
“There's no other way that this could have gone down. Now tell the truth!” Sam pushed Dean off him and got tears, getting emotional at this.
“I tried everything. That's the truth. I tried opening the Devil's Gate. Hell, I tried to bargain, Dean, but no demon would deal, alright? You were rotting in Hell for months. Four months and I couldn't stop it. So, I'm sorry it wasn't me, alright? Dean, I'm sorry.”
“It's okay, Sammy. You don't have to apologize, I believe you.” Dean sighed, believing his brother.
“Okay, that’s great. Sam is fine, I’m fine but if we didn’t do it, then who or what did?” You asked the brothers and your dad.
“I don’t like where this is going.” Bobby sighed.
“Think about it, if the demons wanted your soul so badly and they got it, why would they let you go? Whatever pulled you out, it wasn’t a demon.” You thought more about it.
“What, you think it was an angel?” Dean said sarcastically.
“I’m not ruling anything out.” You said.,
“Come on, angels don’t exist.” Dean scoffed, sitting at the end of the bed.
“That's what we thought about a lot of things, Dean.” You sighed, taking a seat next to him and holding his hand. Bobby sighed and took a seat at the table while Sam got beers for everyone. When he came back, he took a seat next to your dad.
“So, what were you doing around here if you weren't digging me out of my grave?” Dean asked his brother.
“Well, once I figured out I couldn't save you, I started hunting down Lilith, trying to get some payback.”
“All by yourself? Who do you think you are, your old man?” Bobby glared at Sam.
“Uh, yeah, I'm sorry, Bobby. I should have called. I was pretty messed up.” Sam sighed.
“I would have helped you, Sam. I stopped hunting. I couldn’t take care of myself and I knew if I were hunting, I would get myself killed. But I’m sorry for never calling you. You lost him too.” You sighed and Sam smiled gently at you.
“I know what you were like. You weren’t ready. But it’s okay, I forgive you.” You nodded and sighed, putting your head on Dean’s shoulder. “Anyways, uh, I was checking these demons out of Tennessee, and out of nowhere they took a hard left, booked up here.”
“When?”
“Yesterday morning.”
“When I busted out.” Dean sighed.
“You think these demons are here because of you?” Bobby asked.
“But why?” Sam asked.
“Come on, something drags him out and maybe the demons want him back. Reclaim what’s theirs.” You sighed.
“How you feeling, anyway?” Bobby asked Dean.
“I’m a little hungry.” Dean shrugged.
“Oh, thank God. You have no idea how long I’ve craved a greasy burger.” You groaned and Dean grinned at you.
“That's my girl.” He chuckled.
“No, that’s not what I mean. I mean, do you feel like yourself? Anything strange, or different?”
“Or demonic? Bobby, how many times do I have to prove I'm me?” Dean sighed.
“Yeah. Well, listen. No demon's letting you loose out of the goodness of their hearts. They've gotta have something nasty planned.” Your dad thought.
“Well, I feel fine.” Dean shrugged.
“Okay, look, we don't know what they're planning. We got a pile of questions and no shovel. We need help.” Sam declared.
“I know a psychic, Pamela. A few hours from here. Something this big, maybe she's heard the other side talking.” Bobby shrugged.
“Hell yeah, it’s worth a shot.”
“Good, I’ll be right back.” Your dad said, getting up and dialing the psychic’s number.
“Hey Dean, what was it like?” Sam asked now that it was just the three of you.
“What, Hell? I don't know, I must have blacked it out. I don't remember a damn thing.” Dean said and you looked at him. He seemed to be hiding something but you didn’t want to press it. It was a sensitive subject.
“Well, thank God for that,” Sam said in relief.
“Yeah, I have to go to the bathroom,” Dean said, getting up and leaving you and Sam alone.
“Sam, I really am sorry.” You sniffled, getting tears. Sam got up and took Dean’s spot, putting his hand on your back.
“No, don’t be sorry. Look, you weren’t well. I’m sorry, I should have stayed with you to help you. You must have gone through some terrible things.” Sam sighed.
“I should have called you or something. I mean, he’s your brother and I’ve been a bad friend to you. We needed each other and…”
“Shh, it’s okay. We have each other now.” Sam whispered, bringing you in his arms. You sighed and hugged him, glad to be a family again.

ladysimoriah replied to your post Coda, 12x14 “I’m going to work for them.” “Oh,…
I so wish this might be where the writers are headed with this mess b/c that’s about the only way I can stomach the end of tonight’s episode right now.
Ohhh I hear you! I’m still kind of… *blinks* What did I just watch? Oh well. Not enough to deter me from a brother moment (for which I am starved.) Thank you for reading. :)
