         he leaves his apartment , twirling his keyring on his finger as he starts scrolling through the cellphone provided for him . which is exactly why he runs right into a -- wall ? no . too soft . oh shit . a person . 

        “ oi . watch were you’re goi- ”

       the moment his gaze actually shifts up , he stops talking and a grin tugs at the ends of his mouth .  

          “ cater ? dude , no way . holy shit , i really never thought i could be this excited to see you . ”

            how he got quite literally everyone’s number was pretty obvious , jamil had all that information on hand and kalim was going to use it to his advantage .  it should have been obvious that kalim was going to throw a party at some point and while the idea of having a grand banquet in the middle of town sounded great - for now , he wanted to spend time with his friends . 

            while it wasn’t that new to be here for some of them , for kalim it was still brand new . what better way to get comfortable than to spend time with everyone ? 

            as he walked around the city , he shifted his phone to the other ear . and then it hit him ! why wait to spend time with someone ? not to say the sleepover wasn’t going to happen because it most definitely was going to . 

          “ hey , hey ! cater - i’m out right now . do you wanna meet up ? we can get a snack or go shopping or uh ... honestly , i’m still figuring out what’s around here ... ”

                 “ no ... no the friend who helps me with my hair isn’t here. ” 

                  at least that he knew of. it would be a lot easier if hifumi was here, at least there would be something to calm him down. right now the person who was very excited about his unique highlights was starting to make him anxious. all he could do is think about was the techniques that jakurai had taught him. 

                  “ i really have no idea how he does it. i’m sorry. ”

              “ ah ... i apologize if this is annoying to ask again , but why exactly are we taking a picture ? ”

              while seeing a camera wasn’t that new to her , what he was using to take pictures sure was . and he had mentioned something about ... saving them to post when he could ? there were actually a lot of words he was saying that she had absolutely no idea what they meant - and she had a pretty extensive vocabulary ! 

               there is smile on her face , trying to copy and pose he was doing as it had to be customary to do such a thing . right ? after what she assumed was the picture being taken , icy blue eyes meet his bright green ones . 

              “ oh ! i don’t believe i ever got your name ? ”
