basically i was a science major in high school, which i graduated, my “specialty” (basically just the subject that will have the biggest impact on your grades) was biology but i don’t think i had much of a favourite class at that time, i enjoyed physics and chem a lot but what we were actually taught wasn’t what interested me the most then i got into applied arts, had to spend one year in a skills upgrade class so i could get into what we call a BTS (brevet de technicien supérieur) which is a two-year “““intensive””” course including at least one internship (i’m using quotation marks cause it really depends on the subject you’re taking but mine was actually very much Intensive) so i graduated a BTS in graphic design, but that’s not actually the last class i’ve been in, cause immediately after i entered what we call a FCND (formation complémentaire non diplomante) which is just one year of learning stuff without actually getting a degree at the end, but which was obvectively the best school year i ever had so that’s where i learned more about making comics, reading comics, doing comics, being a comic lmfao i can’t pick one teacher i liked the most cause they all were Characters lmfao we had alessandro which was a peach, very sweet dude with a heavy italian accent who was actually stakhanov in disguise, we had loïc which was another peach, who makes comics about medieval blood and guts but tells us to Relax and Breathe and If You Ever Have Trouble Sleeping Talk To Me About It, we had michel who was an actual meme who sent us group texts at 11.30pm (didn’t see much of him but whenever he showed up we always learned something New and Unexpected about his life), and there were others as well but i DONT KNOW THEY WERE ALL SO GOOD
