::dances to “Do the Hustle”::
Hey guys. Just felt like updating everyone, because it’s been a while. Literally 2 episodes blew by since my last update, where I brought up that I didn’t have much time to work on Web Spider’s stage. My how I’ve advanced, since then. I still can’t believe how much progress I’m making.
Sometimes it takes a good week to re-motivate, but once I get started, I keep going until it’s finished! Which makes me very happy.
That happened after I finished Web Spider’s fight. I actually had to reread Xtreme 2 and all of Season IV so far, to re-motivate. More so, to keep track of the other seeds and open threads I’ve been planting.
So when it came down to writing the Aftermath of Web Spider’s fight, I now had new ideas on what to follow up on. This was regarding, the Maritime Unit, showing some 14th Unit fighting Magma Dragoon continuity.. etc. etc.
You may have noticed that I broke formula for an episode and started off with an Isoc/Sigma conversation, rather than a Gate’s Reploids plot thread. [Don’t worry, it’s still in there. But pacing wise, it made more sense to have Sigma & Isoc talk than show Infinity Flea get upset about his missing friend.]
^ There will definitely be more on that to come in the next episode.
As far as Episode 5 goes, it was pretty straight forward. It was Zero going through Slash Beast’s stage. It turned out way better than I thought it would. Certain things definitely fell into place. And yet, those stage directions were still quite the challenge. I did my best to keep them interesting though.
Next up is Split Mushroom’s stage. It’s X’s turn.
Yet again, I took about a week to re-motivate, but I literally just started the file for Episode 6 today! So. We’ll see how it goes.
I’m really happy to be pumping these out. I hope everyone’s enjoying them.
