#splatoon2!squids

Spoon Two Sceeb! Spoon Two Sceeb! Had the urge to draw Scribner's Splatoon 2 gearset, so here he is jumping about and looking cool with his Undercover Brella. Fun weapon to use, but a hard one to master. I'll probably talk more about him when it comes time to make his reference (whenever that happens, anyway). Enjoy!

'Tis time to introduce a new squiddo to the squad! Or shoal, or whatever you want to call a group of squids. This is Nori! She's a journalism major at what most consider Inkopolis' "main" college- Hargow University- although she secretly wants to try and go to Inkblot Art Academy to pursue photography. She's definitely an effervescent and bouncy sort of squiddo, and is fiercely dedicated to anything that can expose Inkopolis' injustices. She's neighbors with Leo, and ever since they've met in one of their classes, they've been good pals. Leo's here in his Sploon 2 attire, and, being in the final year of his physics major, is almost always tired. So long as he has coffee, though, he's okay. Enjoy!

Who's most likely to do Salmon Run out of all the squiddos? These dinguses. I've had an idea that for the Sploon 2 canon, Mesonii, Guppi, and Bryant decide to try out Salmon Run together on Guppi's off-days to earn extra money. And, weirdly, Bennie always ends up in their work crew. But it's probably a crew that works. I maaaaay do more with their Salmon Run escapades in the future, since I've enjoyed writing/daydreaming about them. I'll take asks about them, if you'd like to send some. Enjoy!

It's him! He fite! The first of two things I'll post before 2017 ends- a marker drawing! My sister got me some new Prismacolors, so I decided to test them out with a drawing of Sploon2!Bryant with his Dapple Dualies. Although the lineart isn't the best here (there was some smudginess with some of the colored pens), I'm v happy with the coloring and shading, and it didn't photograph half bad, either. Enjoy!

I did a poll on Splatoon Amino regarding which squids I should do next for Splatoon 2 redesigns, and Bennie and Moon received the highest amount of votes. With the new gear that came out, I figured it would be a bit easier for me to go through with these, and sure enough, I think this turned out okay. So, without further ado, Bennie and Moon! In regards to how he changed, Bennie's an outlier among the rest of the squids, as his "character development" is more akin to his paranoia completely overtaking him. While he's still the nice guy we know him to be, he's become relatively apathetic and stoic, and is almost always in a state of perpetual concern. Poor dude. Moon, on the other hand, is doing a bit better for herself. She's interning at an animal shelter by taking care of the birds there, and she's become killer in Ranked with her newfound Luna Blaster skills. She's definitely let loose a little bit and, while she does still take a lot of things seriously, she's become okay with goofiness. I think I'm going to do Delpha and Peppie next, since Delpha had the next highest amount of votes in the poll. However, they many not come for a little bit- I have finals this week, and I also need to figure out this year's Christmas drawing and do my Secret Santa gift for Splatoon Amino. So I may be behind the scenes before I can start work on them. Enjoy!
