This cheesy bacon spinach quiche tart is a delightful combination of savory flavors. The crisp bacon, tender spinach, and creamy cheddar cheese blend perfectly with the rich egg custard, all nestled in a flaky pie crust.
Ingredients: 1 refrigerated pie crust. 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 4 eggs. 1 cup heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Put the chilled pie crust in a tart pan and press it down. If there is any extra, cut it off. Spread the cooked bacon and chopped spinach out evenly on top of the crust. Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using together in a bowl. The egg mix should be poured over the bacon and spinach in the tart pan. Add some chopped cheddar cheese on top. The crust should be golden brown and the middle should be set after 30 to 35 minutes in a hot oven. Let the quiche tart cool down for a few minutes before cutting it up and serving it.
