It was done. Josuke had gone through with the surgery and had all his duplicate organs removed. As promised, Josuke had received the money from the crazed surgeon. He had found desperate patient in need of a donor and was willing to pay the crazy amount for his organs. Josuke had endured what seemed like hours of torture and experimentation. It seemed like Cioccolata just couldn’t help himself.
All of Josuke’s duplicate organs had been a perfect match and were perfectly healthy, valuing much over what Josuke even needed. In the end, after fees and payment for Cioccolata’s services, he took home 5 billion lire. Most of it would of course would be immediately going towards his entry fee for his title of capo. As for the other 2 billion, he knew exactly what he was going to do with it. Though, he needed Trish’s approval.
The next time Trish had summoned him, he was already dressed in one of the brand new suits she had recently purchased for him. It was odd to voluntarily be dressed in it since he had always opted to wear his original sailor outfit. However, he couldn’t risk her seeing his surgery scars and the suit perfectly covered them all; at least when the buttons were all closed up. He just hoped she wouldn’t find that suspicious. Though he would have to explain where he would get the money. He just hoped she would by his story. Trish was not an easy woman to lie to.
Josuke was very careful how he moved. His body was still heavily stapled together from the surgery. He was also still in a lot of pain which meant he could not sleep how he normally slept in his bed. He walked up right and straight, slowly making his way to where the couch was, holding a brief case that would soon be his entry fee. He did not once look Trish in the eye; too focused on the amount of pain he was feeling right now and trying to disguise it.
He sat down slowly and carefully, trying to get comfortable. “You...have a job for me today?”, he asked, getting straight to the point.
