he’s not curious in the least by what pannacotta is drawing, or how bad he might look as a muse. certainly he hasn’t felt compelled to peak, not that he can... and there’s no insight to try and get past the slant of his brothers sketchbook as he draws. curled in like a secret.

She tossed and caught the wax paper bundle that gave a wet smack each time it landed in Junai Lens palm. A hard image of it as Fugo often referred to Purple Haze under his breath disrupted her thoughts. The sounds and colors her mind put to its drooling mouth, ragged breathing, crazed eyes- her heart shivered. Nozomi hid her trembling fingers in her jacket pockets. One of her tricks, a disarming smile hid all else on her expression. She’d glimpsed it once before; had heard its name in whispers. The things that kept most men awake with fits of terror and doors barred called her forward; deaf and dumb to whatever wasn’t curiosity guiding her like a string. No matter how many times it burned her she stumbled along it forever.

“You’re a logical guy aren’t you? Haven’t you ever wanted to know what you don’t before anyone else? Maybe the poor thing will even be happier.”

read a book, fugo mouths turning his shoulder away from her to stare at purple haze in its crouch. it’s an impossible bending of limbs, and fugo doesn’t feel the strain on his muscles as haze hold’s itself in place. play a video game, travel to venice.

fugo spilled his cup again and the sand pools into piles on the ground as it slips between the cracks of his fingers. he didn’t mean it, he never does. though how many times does this have to happen before he’s questioned on if he’s even holding anything back in the first place? 

how can you pick it all up again? don’t pity me. fugo begs as he kneels in the center of a sandbox. 

walking  into  the  office  posed  the  risk  of  leaving  with  a  papercut  without  having  sat  down  in  front  of  the  desk.    leaving  with  allergy  ridden  eyes  from  the  dust  that’d  gathered  in  the  pages  of  books  he’d  seldom  touched  was  even  greater  a  risk  ,    now  floating  through  the  room  after  being  freed  by  purple  haze’s  mess.      the  torn  up  sheets  imitated  fallen  leaves    &    confetti  ,    crunching  beneath  giorno’s  feet  as  he  stepped  in  ,    while  the  lighter  pieces  fell  leisurely  back  down  having  sprung  up  in  the  stand’s  frenzy.      

there  was  no  reason  for  him  to  hide  the  surprise  on  his  face  at  the  sight.    where  the  hell  was  fugo  ?

 fugo holds in his yawn in, hiding the twist of his face in a stack of papers. he seems fine, but the second giorno’s not looking at him fugo’s body shakes the need of sleep off his shoulders. “tuesday..”

“did you ever bully anyone in high school?” he’s not expecting an answer, but he’s just asking for convenience sake. it’s the only bite he has the strength for, all without teeth as he catches the blood coming off the wound in his side with his jacket. it isn’t his main reason for wearing red but it helps..helps even better considering buccellati told him how to get blood stains out.

he hasn’t taken his hand off the wound yet, hasn’t even offered a window of opportunity into getting fixed up...eventually he relents, pulling back the stage curtain and the wound pours out from his hip

              ‘ sorry. ’ he can feel the way his brother tenses when he crawls into bed – it’s not like he blames him; panna would have done the same, if not actively lashed out in response. he should have warned him, though he’d been unsure if fugo was awake or not, and didn’t want to stir him if it was possible to avoid. 

              ‘ no, i’m fine. i was just cold. ’ the lie leaves his mouth before he can really think about it; not that he could keep his walls up around his twin, it was force of habit. he presses close or risks falling off the bed, tucking himself under the blankets and feeding off the other boy’s warmth. ‘ why are you awake? ’

“that doesn’t matter anymore..” he just knows he’s awake now, he avoids poking his brother with cold feet and curls them into the sheets. panna’s shape is unmistakeable. even in the darkness fugo can just barely blink back the view of his brothers shoulders.  “we’ll get you another blanket tomorrow...”

i actually spent the past five minutes scrolling through the beginning of our discord chat to really hit all the nostalgia points. god we talk to much that’s all i can say. god we’re so absolutely annoying. it doesn’t even feel like it’s been only couple of months since we’ve started talking because it feels like i’ve been absolutely harassing you with fugo feelings for the past couple of years.

 our first convo was about how important bruno and fugo are to each other, and then i harass you about traitor fugo and like i couldn’t have honestly done this without any of your help. you have been the catalyst for so many developments of fugo’s character in these past couple of months, it’s fucking ridiculous. our boys..they’re growing up right before our very eyes! 

 your bruno is so so so fucking precious to me and to fugo and i have loved every second of watching you put him together. we end up talk about the same things a lot in our chats, but throughout that there’s a benefit and we keep refining our characters thoughts and feelings on certain things. i love it, i love having you here.
