Spidertag x Justkids.
Invited by curator group JustkidsĀ to the 3-day festival Life is BeautifulĀ (September 17-19, 2021), contemporary Spanish artist Spidertag debuted an interactive diptych mural in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.
Opting out of the traditional paint or aerosol approach commonly taken for murals, the artist uses neon light to give shape to a new concept of street art: the Interactive Neon Mural. This avant-garde project burst onto the art scene and has radically changed the concept of muralism by taking it towards a new path of experimentation.
āIconic vintage signs are very much a part of the cityās history and Las Vegas has a fantastic Neon Museum. So it was only natural to bring Spidertag here, and dazzle the Downtown area with a second neon muralā said Justkids founder and art curator of Life is Beautiful, Charlotte Dutoit.
