For this card I decided to combine my two favourite flowers as The Lovers (plus it’s a hidekane reference because I’m still total trash).

“Go. To. Bed.” Tony pointed towards Lillian’s room, only to receive a ‘I don’t want to!’ in return.

Their whole morning had been like this so far. Lillian had caught a cold, and was trying to prove to Tony that she felt perfectly fine, even though it was more than obvious that she didn’t. The next day was supposed to be her first date - ever - that Tony had finally agreed to let her go on. Now that she was sick, she was afraid that she wasn’t going to be able to. Being sick just made her moody, and that much more stubborn.

“Lil, I don’t have time for this. I have work to do today, and you’re not going to get better if you don’t go sleep. So go!” Tony was getting irritated with her, but trying not to get too angry at her. She’d already ended up in tears twice this morning already, the last thing he wanted to deal with with his nerves already being so frazzled, was her ending up crying again.

After another fifteen minutes of trying to get her to go to bed, Lillian thought that Tony had given up, so she sat in the living room floor by the coffee table and tinkered with some things. Despite being sick and running a fever, she looked content to have gotten him to leave her be.

In reality, Tony had gone to trying to find someone else to watch her who could get her to stop being stubborn. Nearly everyone else was busy, so he eventually came to Peter’s number.

Hey kid, you busy? I kinda need you to do me a favor. I’ve got work to do, and Lil is sick but won’t go to bed. I have to leave soon. Pretty sure if I leave her here, she’s not gonna listen to an AI tell her what to do either.
