I define myself as being female, but that doesn't mean that I have to adhere to stereotypical female things. I find it really irritating that when I do something that is typically considered as feminine people are shocked just because I am very "independent". Its even more infuriating when I do something like play sports, or kill a bug, or wear men's clothing and people refuse to acknowledge that I'm a girl and that I like to define as one.
