TARGET --- spellsword-archer
The fiery burst reached so far that Azaron swore he felt his whiskers curl from the heat, and the big Khajiit quickly sat back as the kindling of his campfire flared to life. He dropped his flint and tinder to the side and picked up a larger stick, carefully prodding the bone-dry twigs as the flames consumed them. He added another handful of small kindling before adding a log or two, and settling back a short ways from the stone circle.
“…..there is no need to skulk in the shadows, stranger.” Amber eyes flickered out into the darkness, following the faint sounds of creeping footsteps beyond the flickering firelight. Be they friend or foe, he couldn’t say…but he was fairly confident that he could take care of himself, should the worst come to pass. “Come. Wouldn’t it be warmer by the fireside?”
She has been waiting for Azaron to sleep. Ma'Ridhinna cannot aim, and even if she could, has found no arrows. He wears thick armor, so black it blends with the night silhouettes; her eyes strain to pick him out as she follows by the side of the road.
Azaron has stopped now, and the assassin is glad to stop moving. Soon, perhaps, he will sleep, remove all of that protection. He would not need such heavy armor if he was a good person, would he? Ma'Ridhinna settles, gazes out into the darkness, is knocked out of focus by the sudden flare of light.
Disoriented, she covers her eyes until they adjust. Then, making sure her dress covers distinctive armor, the Khajiit takes timid steps towards the fire. She holds her hands out to warm them above the flames, offering a smile to Azaron. ''This one did not mean to alarm the stranger. Thank you for the fire.''
