I’ve got a personal habit of making hella aesthetic altars for my deities and for holidays. And I’ve kinda got my own way of doing these.
This altar is from our Midsummer ritual held by Selene, Ember, Dan, and myself. We drank a custom blend of herbal iced tea, made by Selene - and we wrote wishes on streamers, which we tied to a floral wreath. I used the wreath as a magic tambourine/ribbon as I danced to The Crookes and Selene wore it as a crown. We passed the wreath among ourselves, each of us imbuing our own energy into the flowers and the streamers to charge our sunset spell. At the end of the night, we burned the streamers - releasing the wishes into the world in a crackling blaze. We laughed. We drank. We were merry. And we lived the day in love.

Pro-tip: should you replicate our spell, please be careful to ensure the streamers you use are flammable - otherwise you won’t have a “crackling blaze” so much as you will have a disappointment. I would personally suggest using tissue paper (like the kind used for wrapping presents) and tearing it into strips to tie onto the wreath; tissue paper is extremely flammable and will burn brilliantly.
