The day was just like any other, to the woman. She’d gotten out of the house early and decided that coffee at her favorite shop was earned, and more than necessary considering she had no caffeine in her own house. Since it was her day off, something she thanked the Heavens for since she was exhausted to the bone from such an eventful week at the casino, she had every intention of heading down to the supermarket to stock up her house; she hadn’t been in forever. Breakfast, however, was the most important meal of the day (or so she kept telling herself in order to force herself out of bed earlier than normal, in the mornings) so she couldn’t head there on an empty stomach. This led her to make a pit stop at her favorite coffee shop, where she bought a bagel filled with all her favorite things, and a hot coffee to go. She had just stepped out of the store and brought the cup to her lips when, in between blinks, she lost sight of everything around her.

It was so sudden she tripped over her own feet, feeling herself collide against someone’s back, hot coffee pouring all over the both of them. She hissed at the warmth, but the focus on that pain was just a tiny spark compared to the panic rising in her chest.

I want to start with this one, since I did more editing than normal. 

In Wiginton’s original spell, it is suggested that you release helium balloons to rid yourself of your unwanted habits. I can’t have that, so I rewrote it in utilize the similar aspects of fire.

Components: Fire, white chalk, & black paper.

⋆ find a safe place to start a small fire.

⋆ write your habits on pieces of paper

⋆ roll them up and throw them into the fire

⋆ watch them burn away in the power of your will.

⋆ if time permits, allow the fire to burn itself out

⋆ safely put out the fire or embers.
