So like... does anyone on here still like speech?? Lmao. I see plenty of posts and accounts of debate, but speech.. not so much! I really wanna make some speech friends and bond over it! Or maybe even some debaters, I don’t care! Private message me.

I’m still shook… Today was our first competition of the year.. I was double entered. And I broke. In BOTH categories (Prose & DDA.) Now you may be saying “oh, that’s nothing” but it is for me. Last year I sucked… Like REALLY REALLY badly. I was getting so many 6’s that even the devil himself was SHAKINGGGG. But anyway, I got 1,1,2 in both DDA and Prose for our 3 rounds. (so it’s just the final rounds that messed me up.) Also, I’ve never done Prose or DDA before… Also, I just got my Prose last Sunday, also I literally worked with one of my coaches for literally 2 mins this week… (There was a Hispanic Heritage Program at my school this week and my coaches were in charge of it so they had to focus on that) so basically I took that W all by myself 😊. Also, I just got my intro on the bus today. Also I just got my intro for DDA like 2 days ago. (Basically a day because she sent it at night when I was about to go to sleep.) All I’m saying is I’m very very proud of myself. (Even though our DDA deserved 1st place, NOT 2nd 🙄. And I can’t speak on Prose because I was the first one to leave cause I was DE.)
