When a kid who said his /l/’s perfectly last week comes in telling me about the yewwo fwower he found at recess.

When a teacher tells me “Oh! There’s a couple kids in my class who you really should be seeing.

When the school psychologist and/or RSP teacher asks me if I’d like them to collaborate with me on an assessment

When a teacher tells me about a kid who stutters “Oh, he doesn’t need speech therapy. I just tell him to stop, take a deep breath, think about what he wants to say, then say it! ^_^”

When another kid asks one of my students why he “talks funny”.

Me in a PL/AC meeting asking if I need to be here.

Checking my mailbox and finding another transfer/referall form.

The first time one of my students says their name with all the right sounds.

When one of my kids spots me in the hall or on the playground and DASHES over to hug me.

When I find a corny handmade gift in my mailbox that says “Thank you Ms Shshsh, Merry Christmas!”
