Would it be alterhumisia, human supremancy or something else if an author did this?
Repeatedly use "being human" as a metaphor for being capable of love.
The villain later changing species, and it's used as a metaphor; "he refused humanity / became less than human = he became incapable of love". It is framed/meant as "he is bad because he does not have the capacity to love or feel grief and attachment", but written in the human/less than a human way. So the author iterally uses human = capable of love and connection as a metaphor and a main learning point repeatedly throughout the whole book series.
This is alterhumisia, speciesism, amisia, and ableism.
