Okay. So maybe the timing wasn’t ideal. Maybe things weren’t going to be steady and perfect. Maybe she’d have to make some drastic changes in her life in order to protect the miracle she had been given. But she was okay with that. She was more than okay with being forced out of Team Rocket’s general “work environment” in favor of something quieter, less dangerous.Â
Maybe some would think it’s strange, the amount of time since finding out she would rest against her bed’s headboard, eyes closed, just hand on her stomach thinking about what this meant. How far she’d come. She barely expected to have her own life. Now she got to give someone else life.Â
And the father? Well, he was a bit freaked but floored. She was comfortable, confident he was going to be there. And that made things even better.Â
She had waited a bit, to make sure that this wasn’t just another lie. That there wasn’t a chance this was just a mistake. But no, no it wasn’t.Â
Now she couldn’t stop herself from telling those she trusted. And this little twerp, the little Vanilla, was definitely one of the top of her list. It wasn’t hard for her to find him, she’d had practice stalking twerps after all.Â
“Hey, Vanilla, I’ve got some news,” she couldn’t hide the happiness. Her smile wouldn’t quit, “I’m... well, I’m going to have a baby.” The final word squeaked out. It was still hard enough to believe, harder to say, her hand back on her stomach out of habit and comfort.Â
