My Letter to Mr. Musk
So, I decided that I wanted to send one of my paintings to space. Here’s my pitch to Elon Musk.Â
Dear Mr. Musk,
I will try to keep this short, as I know you probably get a lot of messages on here. First let me start off by saying how much I appreciate your leadership for renewable energy and space exploration. You are a beacon of light in the science community. I know this sounds cheesy, but I strive to be like you one day-you and Mr. Einstein, although I know that is a pretty steep hill to climb. Please continue doing what you do best, and I'm sure the world will change for the better.
Alright, now that I got that out of my system, let's get to the point. My name is Ethan, I am currently in my final year in the Architecture program at the University of Minnesota. For one of my projects, I am creating a series of paintings about searching for nature. (It is very elaborate) I am placing painting throughout the city to demonstrate that cities and nature are one and the same. Now, this is where you come in: I want to send a painting to space, but I have no clue on how to do that. I know this sounds crazy, but if anyone were to understand, I would think it would be you. I know this is a lot to ask, and you probably won't read this, but if you did and even responded... it would make me pretty damn happy. Let me know what you think about this idea. I will elaborate if need be. You can message me on here, or email me at [email protected]  Â
Sincerely, Â
Ethan
