Today was Spagbol Day in the kitchen - I'd been looking forward to that dinner roll for a few days. Skipped the butter in favor of a Laughing Cow cheese wedge. 🍝

I bring some food/drinks along with my blankets, journal, etc. for inpatient. Highly recommend doing so yourself if you're spending some time in a recovery ward. 🩺 🎒 🧃 📚

Would you be willing to share your roast chicken recipe?

George Rexstrew's Roast Chicken

Put the chicken in a pyrex dish.

Make a mixture of olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, mixed herbs, and paprika and lather it all over the chicken.

Put it in the oven at 200 for 1 hour 40 minutes. Take it out every half hour or so to baste.

Includes advice on sides but no recipes. Note: if you are cooking for the Rexstrews, you must include a lot of gravy.
