Yeaaaaaah, I see your point. Ideally I would’ve spread it out over the week, but it didn’t occur to me to do it until like 8pm the day before, and time was running out.

Man I love that one. It’s a long way in the queue, but we’ll see it later today.

I wish I had more time to word on each of Space’s things today, but the clock’s ticking and I just don’t have time. But I will. I have so many thoughts and feelings about Space’s work (the All That’s Left series remains an all-time favourite).

I’m so happy to see the queue has been working (now to add YET MORE), and so many people are liking and reblogging things. Space is one of my favourite artists and creators here on Tumblr, as well as one of my favourite people, and I’m going to miss her in this fandom terribly.

Basically everything in it is upsetting to me.

I mean, Barbara gets shot (and paralyzed, which means she can no longer fight as Batgirl) to get at Commissioner Gordon who is made to see his daughter lying naked and bleeding and it’s just awful.

I never tire of these, these are always a delight. These are just lovely bits of amazing.

YES! I've been trying to pinpoint it all afternoon and I think you have it. Calling him brainwashed her is a misnomer here. He's not brainwashed. His eyes would be red. But they're blue and empty. What's happening here is what happened between Usagi's and Demande: his body is totally taken over and he can't do a thing. He doesn't have the silver crystal or Neo Queen Serenity to count on to help him resist.

BUT HE IS FULLY CONSCIOUS.

Which makes it even more horrible than the brainwashing. He's conscious be he can't do a thing about it. He knows who Black Lady is. He knows the kiss is wrong. BUT HE CAN'T DO A THING ABOUT IT. He's probably screaming and crying inside, for himself of course, but even more so for Chibiusa and, once she shows up, Sailor Moon.

He can't do a thing to prevent his body from moving and following orders. He takes the kiss. He *will* attack Sailor Moon. It kills and will kill him inside but he's absolutely powerless.

And that's why his bright blue eyes are bleak, empty and filled with pain.
