Woo! Happy birthday! :D
Thank you!! : D
happy birthday!! <3
Thank you!!! <3
Would love to see a new snippet of the Peacock Fixed AU if you have any!!
Thanks for the ask!!
I don't have any prose written yet, but the story is a canon divergence from Season 5 ep Evolution. What if Gabriel had given his past self that set of instructions on how to fix the peacock? When there is no impetus to save Emilie, everything changes... but sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same.

CLUB REDACTED 🧿🍷
OKAY SO this is an old idea (like 10+ years) and it spawned from the Portal fandom but is pretty separate from it now. It was a collab between Bowlersandtophats and I back in the day, and it was mostly some romances set in this club that was meant to evoke old timey glamour.
I've been thinking about it more lately, esp since the world has changed a lot since then. Like, I realized that there is pretty much no way it would have survived the pandemic for long.
If I were to write it now, I think a lot of the theme would be about endings, with an author coming to visit and documenting the history and the last hurrah before the club is gone forever.
-Marcella trying to keep things going despite everything and being pestered to return home to Italy by her brother Ciel -Whitney coming to the US to see the club her cousin (the bookkeeper) always talked about and getting a crush on Ciel -Vlad coming to see his ex Riley to think of the good times while he also deals with things happening in Russia and how he may never see it again -The employees looking to find new jobs if they haven't already
Etc etc! It's a story about endings, and sometimes, about new beginnings.
ooh you watch DS9? what are your favorite things about it? or what would you say to convince a friend to watch it? cause I am interested and started it but had a hard time getting into it…but I grew up on TNG so I feel like I should love it and maybe I just need to push through a slightly less compelling beginning or something lol?
EYYYY TNG buddies!!
So for me what I love is that the world building feels so solid. Like every character is an individual and complex and interesting, and the conflicts feel real. I do think like TNG it gets better as it goes on, and the season finales tend to be really satisfying.
I actually haven't had much luck watching DS9 from the beginning, even though if you miss episodes you can be REALLY confused. Instead I've been watching it on Pluto tv, (it's one of those free with commercials streaming things) and they have a couple Star Trek channels where they do diff series' in a loop, Original and TNG on one and DS9 and Voyager on the other. You tend to be able to pop in on something compelling that way, and I think I've seen most of DS9 now, though not in order, and there are a few things where I'm missing key episodes and idk how something happened or resolved lol.
There are overarching conflicts and seasonal ones so you tend to be able to follow something along to a natural conclusion if you get near the beginning of a season.
You also get to find out what happens with some of the TNG cast too, so that's fun!
After the end of season 4, what would you think of Miraculous users/guardians of the world stepping out of the shadows and lending a hand to the heroes of Paris?
I want at least up to the Hawkmoth defeat to be just Ladybug and Chat Noir. I love the Ladynoir dynamic and I hope we see a lot of it in season 5!
Also, thematically I think it feels more fitting to have just our main duo, especially since that's how it began. Maybe with some advice/help behind the scenes? (Su Han, what are you doing) After that, I wouldn't mind seeing another hero once in a while, like Aeon or Jess, but I'd rather spend more time with the characters we already know and love.
