Listening to Space Between from Descendants, I don't know whether it's platonic or romantic but whatever their relationship is I want it
Thinking about regulus and Sirius singing Space Between and For The First Time In Forever (Reprise) for karaoke
Somthing i just realised is that in Disney’s Descendants 2 movie, when Evie and Mal sing about the “space between” right after Mal changed her hair- there is a hidden meaning.
Evie’s hair is Blue. Mal’s hair is Purple. In the first movie Mal’s purple is undeniably purple.
But then, in the 2nd movie, Mal seeks the change and all that plot.
She changes her hair to a more pink-ish color
While Evie stayed blue, Mal shifted to pink, creating a ‘space between’ them on the color wheel (bc purple is right between blue and pink)
The space between is the purple hair but also the life she wanted to leave behind.
(Side note: when in the 3rd movie, Mal’s hair becomes more blue again, they found their true places in life IN the friendship. It was amazing)
