Reno was shaking so hard that it looked like he was going to fall out of his chair.

Tseng would deal with him later.  Right now, he needed a stiff drink.  His legs were still not steady as he went to the fridge, reached into the freezer and pulled out the bottle of vodka that was there.

Taking a swig out of it, recapped it and put it in the freezer.  He slammed the door shut harder than he meant to but he still was shaken.

Reno had gained his composure and leaned against the back of his chair.  “Is the car still in one piece this time?”

It was.

But it was in dire need of repair.

“You tried the hi-way, didn’t ya?” Reno said and started to chuckle again.

Tseng glared down at Reno who was the only person in the world that didn’t back down from him.

“I’ll take that as a yes.”  Reno leaned harder on the back of his chair as he started to snort as he laughed.  Rude was shaking his head and spuriously looking the other direction.

Tseng was usually a calm man.  The past week of trying to teach Rufus to drive had been testing his nerves and the drive on the hi-way today had frayed the last of them.

He kicked out and took out the chair from under Reno to send him crashing to the floor in a dramatic tumble of limbs and screaming.

“You are his driver from now on,” he said curtly.

He did not miss Rude covering his mouth to hide his smile and no one on the Turk floor was out of range of Reno’s curses.

He was not getting in the passenger seat again with Rufus behind the wheel.  He would make excuses about his safety to keep him in the back seat.
