ALEXEI IS NOT IGNORANT TO THE WAY THAT SHE SHIVERS in the cold. He knows that she doesnât want to accept from him. He expects nothing less, really. But her stubbornness does mirror his own even if their family was never FLESH and blood. â Neither do I. â He drapes his jacket over her shoulders in spite of her protests and takes a seat next to her.  â Iâve been like heater since they give me the serum. Always too hot. â
@soviet-spider asked â What do you know about me? â from x
âKnow âbout as much as any SHIELD agent does,â he hummed, his shoulders lifting to a shrug. âIâve read yâfile, anâ I know the missions, the history of how yâjoined SHIELD, buâ I dunno much else. Why? Whaâ dâyou know âbout me?â
@soviet-spider cont. from here
  â Thatâs not what I meant...  You know a lot about it. â

Password? Clint raised an eyebrow at the word on the screen. âClassified?â The word was typed in only to be denied. âAlpha?â Again, nothing came of the guess. âStay Out?â Not getting anywhere with it, Clint pushed the laptop away. It was just his luck to have found a computer he couldnât get into. âI have ways of cracking you.â The inanimate object stared back at him as if to challenge him. âFine, thatâs how you wanna play this?â He went to the kitchen and brought back a knife. The knife was placed on the table as he reached for his phone. He didnât want to gut the computer because he was mad enough to not be careful with it. Then heâd have to spend hours spy-tweaking it with new wires and tricks to hack backwards for the information. Natashaâs number was dialed. She knew more about hacking than he ever would. âNat-â He couldnât fake any panic and he wouldnât do that to her. âI donât have long to talk- need help.â

[ text ] I miss your face. Wish you were here
Should he be looking at his phone when he's holding a position, his bow sat besides him? maybe not, does that matter? Also probably not. He can't help but to roll his eyes in amusement.
[txt] Eh it's ain't that pretty of a face, just look in the mirror, way better one ;)
[txt] miss you too
â for once in your life, what is it that you want? â
prompt sentence starters;
"For once in my life?" Bucky's smile is about as dry and sardonic as his tone. "You know, I have it on pretty good authority that I used to do a lot of what I wanted back in the day." Then World War II happened. Then HYDRA happened. Everything beyond that has always been a muddy blur.
But Nat's giving him this lookâthis very specific look she gives him when she knows he's meandering around the answer on purpose, and she usually only lets him get away with it for so long.
The struggles of being known.
"Honestly? Totally, completely honestly?" Bucky drags his teeth across his bottom lip, weighing his options. There's not much to weigh, just the truth, and the not truth, and if he goes with the lie, she'll be able to suss it out anyway. "Nothing. Notânot nothingâbut nothing. Just... be left alone for a while. Is that weird? I want a week. A whole week of not having to think about any responsibilities or reparations I have to make and just existing. For a week. At least. That's what I want."
