I make a point of trying to track down n notify artists any time I see clearly stolen/reposted art, and 99% of the time the artist is one of the first 3 results via reverse image searching. Sometimes the signature/watermark/etc has been edited out, who knows by the poster or wherever they found it, but MOST of the time it's still plain as shit on the picture!!!! Perfectly legible!!!
It's not Hard Work to track down the artist to share directly from them OR link back to them appropriately within a post! And honestly, i don't care if it's not Easy to track someone down!!! If you CANNOT pinpoint the artist, don't fucking post it unless you're asking for help tracking em down!! Boohoo! Tough shit, you don't get to just post whatever free range!!

Source Hunt: Integrating wind onto the power grid
I'm going to be writing a story later this month that takes a look at some of the tech/engineering innovations that are helping utilities/grid operators integrate wind into the system.
A utility engineer explained to me in passing a few months ago that it's no small engineering feat to add wind power to the grid and still maintain a steady, stable system. But I know companies are figuring out ways around this challenge. I'm hoping to explain what kind of grid-management hurdles are created by wind power, and focus on a few examples of how these problems are being solved.
