Sora kept scrubbing at her face, why wouldn't they just come off?! It was frustration, her cheeks hurt from how hard and long she'd been scrubbing at them, but what else was she supposed to do? She didn't want these dumb marks she hadn't even realized they were genetic! She could have sworn that there was a coming of age ceremony were you got the marks but no they were here and they didn't want to leave, and she didn't want anything to do with them.

Sora let herself fall against the door as Arin knocked on it, "Sora? uh you ok?" letting out a wet laugh, the young teen learns her head against the door, she could feel her dearest friend standing on the other side, "no, i'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to see this"

laughing again Sora hears Arin sit in front of the Bathroom door, "at least you're not a cat right now, that or I've grown the elemental ability to understand cat"

Breaking down into a fit of wet laughter, she can almost hear Arin smile at his success in cheering her up, he was such a dork.
