I just saw a platonic/familial character imagine about characters not even from my source and it just. Made me feel so paternal. Not towards those characters, but towards my cassettes. I miss them. It reminded me of how I used to take care of them. Keeping them in my chassis to shield from heavy blasts, making sure they had enough Energon to sustain themselves, repairing them when they got damaged, all of it. And the way they took care of each other too. It makes my chest feel so much more empty now that they're not here. They were the Spark in my chest, and now they're gone. I feel grief.
At least I have the closest thing to Ravage sitting by me and purring. When she lays on my chest and purrs, it's the closest I've ever felt to home. It makes the emptiness feel less so. That's all.
