Final Playlist Icon

So here is my final playlist icon for my playlist of the twelve songs. I used Adobe Illustrator to create this. First I started with adding all the lines for the music bars going arounf in a circle. I decided to do them all in black, so the album covers stand out more with the colour. I think black works very well for the minimalistic approach and also it connects with any music that would be added to the playlist as it doesnt disturb the colour scheme and isn’t too loud or overwelming. Next I took each album cover and only took the middle part of it to create bars. I cropped them and resised them so they fit into the circle and created the same idea as with the black lines. I added more space in between the album covers than the lines so they don’t mix together and so each cover gets the same amount of attention from the user. 

I think that this icon works well for any playlist that there would be as the only thing that would change would be the album cover bars. I think that this icon is clear and easy to understand and would be enjoyable for the user to look at. If I was to do this again or add something to my project I would try and make the bars in the icon spin in circles to create movement and then the albums would look even more interesting.
