-Chef Soulfflé prepares a lot of food for King MacFrights. There are times when MacFrights decides to throw a feast, so Soulfflé takes it upon himself to provide most, if not all, of the food (it’s likely they met under similar circumstance). MacFrights will occasionally come check in while Soulfflé is cooking to see how much longer until everything is prepared and watch him cook, somewhat curious since MacFrights doesn’t really pay attention to this type of stuff usually. He might help Soulfflé with a few things, but he doesn’t really know how to (and insists that he is a king, so he does not need to. Soulfflé should be appreciating the help). It’s a bit of a bonding activity for the two of them.

-MacFrights is always impressed by all of the contents in Soulfflé’s kitchen. How did he obtain so much salt? These other spices? These are signs of wealth, so for Soulfflé to have them must mean… he worked as a chef for a different king while living? Preposterous! MacFrights will not allow any such behavior. Soulfflé has to explain to him that such items are more prevalent in the modern era, but MacFrights doesn’t really understand. Now he just boasts to everyone about how his partner only prepares the utmost quality of meals. He has salt and pepper. Lots of it. Incredible.

-Out of nowhere, though, Soulfflé will bring MacFrights some food that he has prepared, since cooking is his passion and he wishes to surprise his partner. MacFrights, the first few times is surprised at the gesture, and gets all bashful about it, but he then says that of course Soulfflé would bring him food because he absolutely deserves it: he’s a king, after all, and he will generously accept this offering Soulfflé has given him. It’s more of an act so that MacFrights doesn’t show to everyone else around that he’s overcome with adoration over the gift, but Soulfflé can see right through it. Now it’s more of a routine the two have.
