Khalil Fong is a Hawaiian-born Mandopop singer-songwriter and producer, exposed to music at a young age by his father, a professional drummer. His music style is often regarded as innovative, aiming to bring elements of soul and R&B into Chinese music. 

Spring Breeze is from Fong’s first album Soulboy, released in 2005. This song has a blues feel, and appears to be inspired by Michael Jackson, someone Fong sites as one of his biggest musical influences, along with Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, and others. 

Since then, Fong has come out with many more albums and is also involved with producing and song-writing for other famous artists, such as A-Mei, Eason Chan, and Andy Lau. He has received much recognition for his work throughout the years, including the New Wave Award at the 2016 Asia Artist Awards.
