He was so ready to die, what a shame. I admit, I share in his disappointment. It was a dream to watch the life drain from my brother's eyes. But martyrdom is a state of mind, isn't it? Surely, a death of spirit will suffice β for both of us. And I'm a businessman, you know. I never waste an opportunity.
Athena McGonagall
Known as "Miss A" to students. Daughter of Minerva from a one-night stand with Morgana Bloodmoon. Gryffindor, 1984-1991 schoolyear, Head Girl and Quidditch Keeper. Madam Pomfrey's assistant and Mediwitch-in-training post-graduation. Aro/Ace. The scar on her neck is from a Death Eater attack, and the green part of her arm is self-inflicted Dragon Pox in order to study and cure it. No one's entirely sure why, but Athena's magical abilities are severely hindered by use of a wand. Her body otherwise naturally heals itself when injured, and she doesn't struggle with wandless magic once she's actually learned a spell through that method⦠which is⦠rather difficult to do, and ends up being rather inefficient for the large scale of spells that mediwitches are required to know. To circumvent that issue, she's spent a lot of time learning muggle medical techniques and often combines them with medical potioneering/herbology. People who don't know Miss A are scared and think she's intimidating, but any frequent flyers in the Hospital Wing know she's an absolute sweetheart who is as efficient as she is kind.
