Backstory: Sky was a muggleborn born into a large family that struggled financially and moved often. They couldn’t afford a proper education for everyone, so when he got his letter to Hogwarts, it was an opportunity to learn skills that could earn them more money. He always felt his family’s situation was unfair, and he only grew more aware of this as he learned more about the world. He wanted to devote his life to changing things for those less fortunate, and believed education was the key (why he became a professor)

Once he found out what he wanted to do with his magic, painting moving portraits, he felt the drive to study all the necessary classes to succeed. His power comes from his connection to chaotic wild magic, a strange variety of ancient magic. His magic shows itself in strength and agility—always acting before Arsonus can react. Despite this, he and his wand strongly disagree, and he can rarely cast spells, leading him to fall behind in nearly every class. Arsonus’ real influence lies in his charisma, able to sway his classmates towards troublemaking and mayhem.

Beaumont Lestrange has a powerful connection to dark magic. His magic is deadly, strong, and indomitable. Before he can graduate, he flees Hogwarts, becoming a dark wizard so powerful that he brings the return of the House of Lestrange. Although not fast or agile, Beaumont is absolute. Any spell he wishes to cast will find its mark. He specializes in torture curses, spells so strong they can cause an agonizing death described as the Cruciatus Curse tenfold.
