#sorta rant?

so basically, i was getting in bed, and it's a bunk bed, ok, and it's against a wall in such a way the ladder on the side is useless, because i hate people climbing into my bed (upper bunk ofc👑). so what happened was, as i was getting in bed, i realized, i still don't put my left leg in first, rather balancing my knee on the bar and then putting my right leg in. i started this around late May/early June, around the time summer break was ending, when i sprained my left ankle (it was probably a hairline fracture, but i never got it checked ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ ) while downstairs horsing around with the other students at my apartment, i lifted this little kid to carry her bc she said her legs hurt, but she kicked around so much i lost my balance, and rolled my ankle in that oh-so-painful way. at first, the adrenaline let me continue the zombie tag game (i was the last one left somehow) for a bit but then i said i had to go back bc my leg hurt too much, when i got back and the adrenaline wore off, it hurt so GODDAMN BAD that i couldn't walk and even the slightest pressure brought me to tears. i hobbled about, trying to get ready for bed, and i got in with that strange new method, with right leg first, since i would probably face-plant if i went left first. after the weekend, instead of using the old lady walker my mom bought for me, i took painkillers and limped off to school, thus worsening my leg's condition, and since i was class monitor, board monitor, and generally had teachers giving me the walking around jobs, it got WORSE, up to the point where i'd been limping up to the beginning of September, and am still unable to run without consequence (i broke my right leg like 3 years ago in a school sports event, i've only been able to run this year TwT), and now that strange new way of getting into bed, has become the normal way, and the normal way seems weird now, even if the previously strange way kinda hurts my kneecap... so now a strange habit has become normal, and not doing it seems weird
