Soriku vs sorkai
Not a lot of people talk about this, but Riku kidnapped Kairi knowing exactly what he was doing, played mean tricks on Sora, and Riku kept trying to use the powers of darkness knowing the consequences.Β
Sora kept having to rescue him from the cages of his own construction, it was very annoying playing the games. This Sora x Riku ship is poop.
The reasons for pairing them are bad cause Riku constantly wants to be better than Sora leading him to make bad decisions over and over again.
He said he would eat the Paopu fruit with Kairi to Sora's confusion and disgust. Kairi even tells Sora that Riku shouldn't come with them on their raft at all. (Even though there were rowboat, so they didn't even need to make a raft, you dumb kids.) Sora and Kairi had feelings for each other ever since the drawings on the wall and the dance in Halloween town.
The Sora x Kairi ship is actually based in the game and is Canon.
Sora goes through Hell to save Kairi from the clutches of Riku over and over. If Riku was a good guy, he shouldn't have kidnapped Kairi, then Axel will, then Saix. Sora is hugged by Kairi and he never experienced a hug in his life. I wish I got a little more out of Sora and Kairi though.
