@sora1915 mmmm honestly im the same way. It is gonna be interesting to see a pokemon game on hardware that far surpasses anything the series has had access to before. ALSO, if if if IF they are gonna do those Diamond and Pearl remakes, i wonder if they’d be on the Switch or 3DS 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Even if the Gen 7 teams have different motives.  Even if they're both good now. Even if the interdimensional agents also turn out to be good and that all the new teams are good.  It still does not excuse that we're once again focusing on Gen 1.  "We needed a villain team!" Then make a new one.  Or, if you're really insistent on re-using teams, why not go for like...literally anyone else?  Magma/Aqua could be an interesting group to show up, since they're familiar with environmental catastrophe borne from messing with powers beyond your control.   Galactic would make sense, both as a tie-in to Gen 4 remakes and as the group associated with space, which is, you know, kind of a pretty big fucking theme of this generation.  Or, hell, why not Team Flare?  Not like their motivations ever got to make any damned sense, and Lysandre's thing was on beauty, something Lusamine also emphasized.  Actually tie in the literally unfinished Gen 6 and give them something to do.  You had all these options, and you went with the only team that disbanded twice.  The only team that already took up two games.  The only team that it makes virtually no sense for them to be involved considering Team Skull is already the exact same thing!  Even if their motives change, it's far more interesting to focus on their changes rather than just throw in Team Rocket because "LOOK EVERYONE, IT'S GEN 1 STUFF AGAIN!  DO YOU LIKE THIS?"  No, Pokemon Company, I do not like this.  I explicitly hate this.  Do something new and just emphasize the new stuff for once.  Oh wait, you can't, because the one time you did do that, everyone shit all over Gen 5.

Well you can’t really assume what he’s thinking unless he’s come out and confirmed that he’s doing some kind of reincarnation plot or that he enjoys doing it. Also, you seem to think that we all /don’t/ want the old characters to be reincarnated or for the idea to be sort of mentioned. I don’t mind that type of plot and considering the amount of bitching I see regarding the series having too many characters at this point, I don’t think adding more will make things better also, the last set of new characters were the Foretellers and the Master and none of them are really based on anyone we’ve seen before; sure there are thematic elements but they are very much different characters and they were released not that long ago. Also let’s not forget Ephemer(a), Skuld, Blaine and Strelitzia, all of which are not based on anyone we’ve seen before (unless of course Blaine turns out to be connected to Ienzo) with Streli being introduced a little under a month ago so I don’t understand why you think he’s not making new characters.

Yeah no like I’ve been going through a bit of a mellow mood because I’ve only played like five matches because of the servers. Everyone else in the world seems to have worked out combos while I still play like a baby. Feelsbadman.

that sounds plausible. or as plausible as anything else in these games.

By which I mean the typical uncomfortable camera angles and really gross attention to Mami’s chest scenes (the original series had that problem too though). I don’t particularly care if it’s a popular opinion or not haha, I just didn’t think all of the dance styles fit the character’s personalities. The animation itself was interesting, but like I said, I don’t think it meshed well. (Kudos to them for at least trying something new though!) And nah it wasn’t the fact that it ended on a cliffhanger, it was more of the fact that they trashed Homura’s character for a twist ending. I’m not too happy with that, but if they’re shooting for another movie it makes sense (doesn’t mean I agree / am happy about it though).

Yeah I feel the same way. That’s what got me worried as well. I saw that all my import sites sold out of it so I assume that’s where everyone else got them. If you do want to order from somewhere else, (which I’m considering myself) Amazon Japan is still selling it officially on their store, so it ships globally and the shipping/ price for all three is actually the same price as the SE store.
