#sooooo yeah!

hey guys, so as of this sunday, may 19th, this blog will officially be on semi-hiatus, as this is when i start work. due to the nature of my job, i’m going to have incredibly limited internet access, likely for......... ohhh, the next several months. 😅 

i’ll be working onboard an icebreaking general cargo vessel (this one!) until hopefully november, so i’ve got quite a stretch ahead of me. i’ll be able to stay connected via my mobile while in port and in the seaway, but that connection will be lost while we’re underway. i’ll also be working off my data, ofc, so i’ll have to be careful lest i end up with a 300$ phone bill. the ship does have satellite internet, but it’s slow, and not at all private, so i don’t foresee myself using it for something like tumblr.

that said, this is still only a semi-hiatus because the queue is full and will continue to post daily, and hopefully i can pop online the odd time we’re in dock to check messages and such! i’m super excited to start this next phase of my schooling and career, but i am gonna miss you guys!!!!! as always, thanks for following. see you on the other side!!
