“Oh Toronto!” Rosie pointed her mic towards the crowd, taking her earpiece out to hear the screams and cheers. “Did you have fun tonight?” It was so satisfying hearing carats echoing throughout the entire arena in her own hometown. She hasn’t lived here in forever, but she still felt there was a duty to be carried out when performing here.
“Ahh, you guys sound so beautiful.” She knew to leave pauses in between each of her sentences.
“It’s been a while since we’ve been here. We have all matured a lot, especially me. Actually, I wanted to come here for our last tour, but we couldn’t make it happen.”
She pouted her lips, looking around at the members by her side. “I was nervous for tonight. I made sure I slept well but I still feel antsy.” Any fan would be able to tell she was nervous from how much she was shaking.
“I always want to be an idol that you can look up to. I also wanna be remembered when people visit this city. I want people to be reminded of me whenever they come to toronto.”
Rosie squeezed her mic closer to her chest, tapping her feet on the stage as the crowd screamed louder.
“Now that I’m older, I only want to be the best for you. And tonight that responsibility is sitting very heavily.”
Seeing all the carat bongs waving in the crowd and all the loud cheers is what sent her over the edge. She tried hiding her tears with a pout, but eventually she had to turn her face away.
Her members began collectively scooting closer to the middle to where she was sitting, trying to cover her with smiles on their faces. She waved her hand, shaking her head as Seungkwan patted her back.
“She’s fine!” Joshua raised the mic to his mouth, laughing as the entire arena was filled with ‘awe’s.
Hoshi started chanting her name, the audience following soon after. He saw it as an attempt to hype her up and hopefully calm her down, but it only made her sob harder into her beanie that she took off her head.
As she collected herself, the members gave her space as she laughed it off. “I’m sorry.”
“I know my Dad was pretty against me becoming an idol, and it took months to convince you. So I hope tonight gives your mind some rest that your daughter is all taken care of, and that those years of hard work have finally paid off. I love you.” She bowed her head, sniffing and wiping the corners of her eyes once more.
“Most of my family and old friends are here tonight. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. And carats, I love you from the bottom of my heart and I hope you will have us back again. Thank you.”
