this is One (1) if my hrkg docs (admittedly the biggest by far). I hit tab limit and had to start another one, and there's a couple fics in separate docs for no particular reason

(disclaimer: not every new tab is a whole new fic. I've got a lot of alternate versions of the same concept, or I'll pull out scenes for organization)

which is MOST of my brain right now, but some hrkg stuff reminded me of an old Magic Kaito/Detective Conan fic, so I'm Back on My Bullshit over there, and I SERIOUSLY owe it to the Gentle Noble fandom to finish some of those WIPs. many, many old docs for that fandom.

Genuinely never sure what I'll actually work on, especially because I am just in a very busy season of my life right now, but THEORETICALLY I'm focusing on:

i'll get back to finishing a coupla ORV fics eventually

idk which of my Gentle Noble fics will win out, those are kind of on the backburner until I have a chance to re-engage with the source material. suffice to say one (1) of my docs for that fandom is 80 pages long (this was before google had tabs, or at least before I knew about them, so several WIPs in one)

There are also ideas I've been nurturing in my mind for 2 days~2 years that haven't made it into docs yet, soooooo

rather than just give a summary I thought I’d walk through my thought process! a look inside my twisted mind, as it were… (LOL)

to begin with I rarely do long titles, unless they’re some kind of joke (help! my classmate’s asking for relationship advice, but I’m aromantic!?) so making this work is a bit out of my wheelhouse… it reads more like a line of dialogue to me. like, to spin it into true kiri fashion, the title would probably be something like seconds, please! but i think spinning it that far is cheating, so I’ll be strict about keeping the words as they are.

if I’m doing that, it does convey some information I’d want to keep. trying to cut a meal early, and asking for seconds. so there’s a mismatch of hunger levels / expectations. first thing that comes to mind is satou and ichinose in the lavender veil. second thing is the crazy levels of food that a lot of classic shounen protagonists eat (naruto, luffy, natsu…)

this second thing is the most promising option, as ichinose and satou wouldn’t really fit with something so blunt, and I think it can be spun more comedically than serious. all that said, we end up with this:
