Ezekiel A Nano Breakdown of the no-gi Ezekial chokes with a focus on "The Boa Constrictor" Aleksei Oleinik, who astonishingly has wins over four decades of MMA competition including a dozen Ezekial chokes! Ezekiel choke comes from judo where it is called the Sode Guruma Jime, which means sleeve wheel constriction and is usually performed by grabbing the sleeve of the gi. It got its name in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after Brazilian Judoka Ezequiel Paraguassú often used it. In no-gi it will essentially be set up as a front naked choke. With your arm going behind the opponents head and your bicep blocking the carotid artery on one side. You then grab your own bicep on the other side and look to punch your fist underneath the opponent's chin to compress the carotid artery on the other side and inevitably some of their tracheae also. It's a choke that can be hit from positons where not many other choking opportunities are available like from inside someones closed guard and Aleksei Oleinik famously used it in the UFC while he was mounted. A fun one to play around with! 🌊🔎🔥 • • • • • #sonnybrownbreakdown #nanobreakdown #bjjlife #bjjlifestyle #bjj4life #jiujitsulife #jiujitsulifestyle #brazilianjiujitsu #bjjstyle #bjjgirls #jiujitsu4life #oss #ibjjf #jiujitsuparatodos #artesuave #bjj #jiujitsu #bjjforlife #grappling #adcc #blackbelt #mmatraining #mmalife #mmafighter #mma #training #wrestling #mixedmartialarts #martialarts #mmalifestyle https://www.instagram.com/p/CDnYZA2J1wP/?igshid=3pkad5cwpqgk
