When do you think this was made? Medieval gold coin? No. This is a sun disc 🌞 found in a British beaker folk barrow called Jug’s grave in Inwood, Monkton Farleigh. It is dated to the early Bronze Age and may have been sewn to an item of clothing or attached to a head dress. The burial also contained two skeletons, shards of beaker, a bone ring fragment, a bit of what looks like a ritual stone mace head and some flint flakes and scrapers.
