I’m trying to remember when I first read about sex. I was reading adult novels in kindergarten so I imagine I came across it in Stephen King or something like that.

My friends and I discovered German VHS porn when we were 8 or 9 in one of our parents' wardrobes.. I remember how we would hurry back from school so we could watch them before the girl's parents got home from work xD

haha my parents’ friends left this kama sutra book with photos at their house and I took it and hid it under my mattress when I was little.

My friends and I found an old porn magazine in the woods when we were little and I remember wanting to sneak it back home with me, but I never had the guts to do it :P

You know: “winter is coming”. :p Na, it’s still quite bright outside even although it’s nearly 11pm. I don’t get it either although I spent most of my life here.

It’s because summers are short, just when we start to get used to it it gets darker again :p

Winter can come! It's much easier for me to get used to the darkness, so I'm definitely looking forward to midsummer eve, because that's when the days officially start to grow shorter again. I think we're like Gollums. We spend most of the year in darkness and the sunlight is no longer our friend :D

I’m planning my summer vacation, and can’t decide whether I want to go see London again or visit Finland for the first time. The midnight sun is a good +. I can’t even imagine that. It’s dark at ~22h in Germany atm. …but I can’t speak Finnish. :V 

“Around the solstice (June 21 in the north and December 21 in the south) and given fair weather the sun is visible for the full 24 hours.” HNNGG I thought the full 24 hours would be later I still have uni until the end of July ;A;

You don't need to know the language to be able to vacation here :) Finns are among the best English speakers in the world and I think lots of us also take Germany in school. And our nights don't start to get dark until mid-July and August, so don't worry about that :) You may not see the actual midnight sun, but you'll definitely get to experience the crazy summer nights. Old pictures are so interesting! They're like little windows to the past :) It's amazing to see how my old relatives dressed and where they lived and what kind of furniture they had and how certain features are passed on from generation to generation.

Hello hello, lurker here! :D I know I still do, but only because that’s where I’d gotten my initial startup and any modicum of pageviews tbh. But nowadays, popularity on dA doesn’t necessarily correlate with skill,rather skin and popular fandoms.

Hello, lurker :3 DeviantART was the place where I, too, got my initial startup as an online artist. I do still get comments there and I read every one of them and try to reply to any questions I might get, but I don't really check other artists' galleries or interact with people the way I used to.

And IMO you can say the same thing about Tumblr and skill/popularity. A ton of notes on a post ≠ quality. There are plenty of skilled artists here who produce beautiful pieces of art, but who don't get the recognition they deserve.
