Whenever I draw "myself" in the Sonic universe, I draw me as Evay the Fennec Fox. I/She has the ability to appear in different dimensions/universes, but that's not really helpful to anybody (I mostly cause mischief lol).
Maybe if I were to be in one of the Sonic games, I could serve as a sort of crafting/customization mechanism. Like, you collect certain items and bring them to me, and depending on the amount/rarity of the items, it gives you the ability to craft certain skins or sprays, or decorate any weapons you've got, etc. (Ex: As Sonic, snap a selfie with Amy and bring it to me, and I'll give you the rarest, highest-grade color options! hehe)
It wouldn't upgrade your gaming skills, it'd just be superficial.
Just something to reflect my 'artsy' abilities, I guess ๐
